If that sheep actually belongs to you and makes that face all the time and will sit in my living room looking like that, with a sign around its neck that says "THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS!" to remind my children of What's What, then not only will I trade these tickets for it, I may even consider paying YOU some money. Mhm.

I'm so freaking sick of getting screwed over on this ticket game. I check ticketmaster at all the wrong times. So now there've been TWO instances of FRONT ROW tickets that I don't have. There's a nice 7th row ticket up right now, but I'm sick of being the only ledgie who never gets to be in the front row (really I'd be quite happy with 3rd or better) Blossom Music Center June 2005 I made it to the front row for Edge of 17 until the end of the show, but that involved me rushing the stage from my 8th row seat and knocking over 60 year old women, I would to be front row stress and guilt free!

Really I never intended to do Toronto. I'm going to Rochester, but the seats popping up for Toronto are kicking the **** out of Rochester. I don;t have much faith that good things will pop up for Rochester considering the Albany people who probably came over.

And I'm not directing my anger at those who have picked up these front row seats, just at my rotten luck.

HMNN.... I have not been to Canada in years. What does one have to have in order to cross the border nowdays? Will a drivers license still suffice?

In my experience, they want proof of identity AND proof of citizenship. State photo ID satisfies identity, but you need something else to prove you're actually a citizen - birth certificate, expired passport, or naturalization paperwork. Whenever I go up to Canada, I always get asked for it.

really, it's anyone's guess what they're going to ask at the border. seems like some people always get stopped & searched, and some people are hardly asked any questions. i'm in the latter category. last time i went, they only asked for my license and asked if i had anything illegal in the back of my truck. didn't ask for my birth cert or look under my tonneau cover. weird.

They seem release better tix at the top of the hours - I've generally gotten lucky right around noon. You gotta be consistent & check every single day around those times. You may want to check with the box office in Rochester when you get there - they may let you upgrade if they have something closer to the front (esp. if you need a single ticket - I don't know if that's what you need.)

No passport needed to drive over until 6/1/09. After that you will need a passport, or an "enhanced driver's license."

For now you need your driver's license & birth certificate.

a mosh pit for Fleetwood Mac? That's hilarious!

That extra section is always shown for every concert I've ever purchased tix for from ticketmaster and its never been there yet. Row 1 has always been row 1 when I've had them Who knows. I was at concert just last fall at the ACC and there was no security zone with barricades then or was that a joke? If it is true then there goes the "Canadians are so friendly" crap What would Stevie think? After all she thinks we all walk around holding hands all the time

Hmm. I dunno, they've invariably asked for proof I'm American as well as my ID, but perhaps I look shady and foreign.

Also, I like that they ask if there's anything illegal in your truck. Like you're going to say, "Oh, you know what? YEAH. I forgot I had like 6 kilos of some prime Utica B weed here under the seat and a severed head in the back. Thanks for reminding me!"

As an aside, what's a tonneau? Quoi?

oh, i wasn't saying you were wrong. you should definitely bring a birth cert. but what they ask you seems to depend on their mood.

haha when i was little, a friend of my mom's did that - got all sassy with the customs officer. they pulled her over and searched her car for 6 hrs.

oh it's just a cover that goes over the bed of your truck.
