Last night's show was tremendous. I hope a good bootleg materializes.

When I got home I watched American Idol on DVR, which immediately extinguished any lingering joy from the concert.

i am glad that you enjoyed the show.

Lindsey and Stevie really ineracted with eachother as well as the audience. Lindsey was AMAZING w/ his solos...Mick's drum solo was EPIC

I am still in like AWE of last night

Much better than Pittsburgh....must have been opening night jitters.

Few fun moments..

Stevie told a story about the meaning of Gypsy...kinda cool
Before one of Lindsey's songs someone must have yelled out a request to him and he laughed and said "well we didn't rehearse that one"

Sara was great...I still tear up when I hear it.
Rhiannon was intense.
Gold Dust Woman was by far the best of the night! The growl, the yelling...amazing
Storms was perfect...I noticed the harmonies between Stevie and Lindsey last night that I did not hear in Pittsburgh.
Stand Back no red shawl....I counted 14 twirls Smile
I'm So Afraid just blows my mind
Go Insane another huge highlight for me.
Silver Springs kicked ass...she nailed it and had such strong emotion!

I think for the most part she kept the short boots on and then brought out the maroon dress and boots in the middle and then back to short boots...I couldn't really see. They were totally on fire that is for damn sure!

Lindsey also made a comment about not touring with a new album yet. Interesting.

Again..great seeing everyone!

Hey Eric!!

Glad to hear it was SOOOO awesome last night, as I heard they were completely on fire.. (UNLEASHED)

Thanks for sharing it with us!!

Hugs,

Arlene

Can someone verify that they were in fact singing at the same mic? Looks to me like Stevie was just walking in that direction?

Stevie walked over during the last verse of Sara and sang the last verse into Lindsey's mic. He was just chillin there playing his guitar

Yes, but more importantly - did people recognize you?

Stephanie · #23 03-12-2009, 12:43 PM

I hope I get to see Stevie in that rockin' crimson dress! I am super-prego due any day, so I doubt I will unless they extend this tour!

He cracked me up the way he would be yelling "haunted song." He would do something different with his hand every night, but I love the one clip where he puts his hand on her beret, her shoulder and her waist and she has this smile on her face. I love it when she thinks he's funny. When he duck walks across the stage during the Seven Wonders video, she thinks that's funny too and it just makes me laugh.

Pattie,

Thanks for the pictures. They were great. We wouldn't even have noticed that you thought you didn't get a lot.

Thanks for clarifying that. Lindsey looked like he was singing, so I was surprised. I knew she would be at his mic for Sara though.

I've always adored that clip... his playfulness with her and when her sweet, winsome little smile engages. Ahh, those were the palmier days of their touring, to be sure. It is then that they were probably at the height of their powers, thundering out raw, electric world-class awesomeness. I wish I'd been there to experience the grandeur first-hand.

Your welcome =) Well he was probably doing the harmony "saaaaraaaa" before Stevie does the whole "ALL IVE EVER WANTED...WAS TO KNOW THAT YOU WERE DREEEEAAMING..." in his mic
