I think the limited edition is absolutely worth it for Not Make Believe alone. I hate one of Stevie's strongest tracks in decades was relegated to b-side status though
. Love Minus Zero/No Limit is great too. I'm not a fan of the Macsters doing covers, but this one is very likeable and tasteful. |

they should've released the full DOUBLE disc set that Lindsey originally wanted as the "Limited Edition".[/QUOTE] Any guesses as to what extra songs that would have included? |

There are four versions of "Say You Will",
not counting promo versions. 1. Pre-order version with autographed poster. 2. Standard version. 3. Deluxe Edition (2 CD). 4. DVD-Audio Edition. (Best sounding version by far, 2.0 or 5.1) |

Means it will resurface one day just like Silver Springs did. Michele

In what way did Linds 'butcher' the Dylan track(s)? I accept that Stevie's cover on Street Angel didn't work as well as she might have wanted but I like what Buckingham did.

Lindsey did not "butcher" it. The guy admitted he's a Dylan purist, so he probably can't hear anything without a biased mind. I think some of us can relate. Objectively, coming from someone who was raised on Bob Dylan's music and has been listening to him for most of my life at that, Lindsey's version is better to me. I love it more because of the pop sound. Dylan's sounds a little harder, but of course I love it. I mean, hell no do I love everything that Bobby has done...I'm not completely blind, but his great stuff can not be reworked to my ears. But this one can, and was, and I enjoy it immensely.

Don't know what extra Stevie tunes (other than "Not Make Believe") that would've been on it, but a track list that was discussed in an interview with Lindsey in Guitar Player magazine around the time of SYW's release also mentioned "Down On Rodeo", "I Am Waiting", & "Gift Of Screws"...the interview took place before the SYW final tracking was done.

I'm a "purist" of many artists, but I will admit when somebody does a cover that out-shines the original. A few Dylan covers that bury Bob's original (or "Why does Bob use their arrangement when he plays these songs now?"): My Back Pages - The Byrds A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall - Leon Russell Knockin' On Heaven's Door - Eric Clapton All Along The Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix I Shall Be Released - The Band Seven Days - Ron Wood and, the best cover of a Bob Dylan song: Don't Think Twice, It's All Right - Eric Clapton (backed by Booker T & MG's)

I picked the Ltd edition version. I think I have 3 versions but not the dvd audio yet. Is it really worth it? I have the Rumours dvd audio....? Just wondering?
