Default When Timothy B. Schmit (Eagles) sang back-up for Stevie

I recall that in the mid/late 90's, Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles was one of Stevie's backup singers at one of her shows (I believe a benefit...don't know if it was AHI or not). Does anyone know exactly which show this was, and if there's any decent boots of it out there?

Thanks!

The only thing I can think of was when Stevie did Don Henley's benefit concert in Phoenix. That was a few months before The Dance. Schmit was there then, but I don't know of him singing back up at any solo Stevie shows. I can't remember him doing AHI either.

Yeah...in my memory it was shortly before Stevie's "big comeback".

So I assume it was probably one of Henley's Walden Woods events then.

Thanks, Michele.

The benefit in Phoenix was for the Southwest Center for Biological Diversity. It was in the late 90s.....97 or 98, I think. Stevie did a set. Timothy was there, but I don't recall him doing backup for Stevie, but it's possible.

Maybe I need to dig through some old fanzines from "back in the day". I swear I read something about TBS being one of Stevie's backup singers for the night, and that he even kinda swayed along with Sharon & Lori! I'll try to investigate tomorrow and report back. Hopefully I'm not just crazy............

They'd do a great country-flavored duet with TBS singing high harmonies over Stevie! I also hope you've heard his cover of the Beach Boys' song "Caroline, No". I think it is just gorgeous, and I'm no Beach Boys fanatic. Brian Wilson produced it and said he started crying when he heard TBS singing it. You can get it on iTunes, and there are also some good clips on YouTube documenting the recording sessions.
