I'm typing this from my uncle's house in Milwaukee, WI. We flew out TODAY, of course right after the Mac concert in Chicago. This may be the closest I will ever get FM. I'm saddddd. I wish that my mother had told me that we were flying out here sooner than yesterday. Then perhaps we could have gotten tickets.

Who knows, maybe I'll be back here by the time the next Rosemont concert is. I'd love to meet some of you!

I am sooooo glad it seems like Stevie is doing a lot better with Storms. I was really afraid it was going to be dropped from the setlist because it sounded so uncomfortable the first night. If she continues to polish it throughout the tour by the end it will really blow everyone socks off. YAY!!!

Thank you for sharing the vid!

Thank you for sharing your pictures! You got some great shots. They're so clear. Stevie looks so good. I'm so glad the boots are back. I love the back shot of her She seems to look the happiest when the show is over

And I bet only about 50% of those people are there on tickets originally purchased at full price.

Hey... those are brown boots with the maroon frock that I love so much? Yesterday I thought they looked 'died to match' - which really would be kinda well, what more can you say about 'died to match' - but brown is way nice, good combo. Great detail in those photos.

How much time were they allowing for costume changes? That's an entire outfit. Very impressive.

I'm only interested in what Stevie wears, you know.

Luke, the second show was added...right? why do you suppose they would do that? something contractual? just curious.

That's the only reason why they would have added it, as the first show was far from sold out to begin with. I'm sure they would have loved to have played nearby Milwaukee, Indianapolis, or even Grand Rapids tonight instead, but all three arenas are booked tonight & tomorrow.

Since it wouldn't have made any sense (from any standpoint) to cancel tonight (since it was an added show under the guise of it being "by demand") for routing/technical reasons or some other BS, they went ahead with it anyways.

Default Bad Management Decision......

Why?

just a bad Management decision,

this tour was planned in the latter part of 2008,

2008 was a pretty good tour year,

then, the economy "tanked".

2 nights in Chicago, (back to back); in hindsight, (ie, 20/20), not a great idea,

but with the extra day off before Detroit / Auburn, it was worth the gamble,

personally, I would have planned a more "linear" tour, without zig-zagging across North America,

"oh, well",

it is what it is, I am sure Chicago #2, was as good as Chicago #1,

g....

LOVE that Stevie's wearing the mahogany boots, and then the "blonde" boots (to match her hair ), with the all black outfits as well. Makes her look more "funky-shiek" than being black from head to toe. She's lookin' beautiful, and I'm glad to hear reports that Storms is improving. My show is near the end of the tour, and I've managed to refrain from watching vids of that song so far.................
