Do not doubt, for one second, that your feelings will not be expressed to Mick. I have a few things I want to say to him. My first thing is to thank him for what he and the band have done for me through the years. My second thought, how we are all in need of less standback and more SOTM... My third thought: Let's say goodbye to Go Insane and tell a few LITTLE LIES... (I feel that now is the time to hear Lindsey do an accoustic version of this song...) Would that not be awesome? SOTM and LL? I think it would be fantastic.

... That is my plan. Now, I may go stupid and get intimidated. In that event, I may just drool and not say much, lol.

OH!!! I forgot to tell you all... They cancelled the pre-show party for my show... My guess is that so few people purchased the package that they decided that it would not truly be worth it... They claimed, "logistical" reasons. Any thoughts?

That's interesting. I have such little experience with ILAA that I don't know what that means. Well, as long as they give you the ticket and gift bag, I guess it doesn't matter. Good luck. It's just around the corner now.

I was at an ILAA show in the past. The pre show party was a light dinner, open bar and during that hour they would periodically give out autographed items from the band--more unique and personal than the gift bag. They did this give away via raffle. You'll still get the ticket to the show and early access to the souvenir stations (I think we got a discount coupon, as well) which should give you a good chance to look things over.

Little Lies would have been a great pick for the set. It was such a huge hit for them, and aside from Say You Love Me, they could easily adapt the song to the current line up.

Thumbs up

If this was the setlist I would be happy

1. Monday Morning
2. The Chain
3. Dreams
4. Eyes of The World
5. Seven Wonders
6. Peacekeeper
7. Rhiannon
8. I'm So Afraid
9. Sara
10. Say You Will
11. Hold Me
12. Big Love
13. Gypsy (Acoustic)
14. Storms
15. Never Going Back Again
16. Beautiful Child
17. That's Allright
18. Oh Well
19. Can't Go Back
20. Tusk
21. Go Your Own Way
22. Sisters of The Moon
23. I Know I'm Not Wrong
24. Don't Stop
25. Landslide

I think this setlist has enough staples and hits that cover the B/N catalogue quite well. Having Landslide as the closer would be a nice change of pace. Also since I find Gold Dust Woman, Silver Springs, and World Turning to be not very good live anymore I shelved them in favour of some other goodies (Seven Wonders, Hold Me). I also included two Say You Will Singles for those Casual fans that might actually know these songs.

Yes, Tango In the Night is barely represented on this tour and Little Lies could be done very easily with the current line up. It could have made a good set even better.

Are you getting any of your $$ back? I would hope so, if the package price included the pre-show party. And seriously, you need to let SOTM go.

Less Stand Back? Stevie's portion of the set is already one big snoozefest. Cut out Stand Back and there goes the one upbeat song she performs throughout the night. Just tell him her set needs more SOTM and leave out the SB comment. And while you're at it, suggest a few more uptempo songs from her FM catalog (Seven Wonders, Straight Back, Love Is Dangerous, RTTG, & EFO). She's already performed half of those songs in concert in the past, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem for her to do them again, right?

You really should demand a partial refund if that is the case. You were promised something for that price and they have not delivered. From a legal standpoint, you're probably entitled to a full refund as the contract between you (the buyer) and them (the seller) was not fulfilled. For all anyone knows, that could have been the deciding factor of whether or not you opted for the package in the first place (I'm sure it wasn't, but I'm just making a point). Are they replacing the party with anything else? Or just removing it from the list?

Agreed. The final coup de grāce would be for Mick to stand up the few that made this outrageous purchase only to find that Mick is too busy with administrative affairs-- and instead sends his autographed picture.
