Standback... without a percussionist, how was this song started off?
Was the tech guy behind mic playing some percussion? this baffles me that there wasn't a percussionist.. it adds so much more flavor and sound, especially on "the chain" and "gold dust woman" thanks! excited to see them in ohio! |

if i remember correctly they just started it off with the keyboards. i remember it being really loud since the speaker was right in my ear. I was glad that taku wasnt there on sunday. I just enjoyed it a lot better. To me the less extra musicians on stage the better.

I kinda have the same feeling about it. I truly believe to promote Say You Will, they wanted a more "fuller" sound. It sound be a hell of a show to see. Can't Wait :-)

No, Mic (though it may have been that drum tech) played a What's The World Coming To-ish intro. (Actually he started it before I'm So Afraid by accident, they had to stop and start the I'm So Afraid intro). I actually liked it a lot, her voice isn't what it used to be and was not strong enough to cut through the mix, but it was not bad or anything.
