Yes, I'll be going to the Greensboro show. I usually get my tickets the day of the show, so we'll see where I end up.

Default I will be there...

April 22nd here in Tampa. As far as ticket prices go, I am no more thrilled with them than anyone else. However, I have to say that I dont see this as a direct reflection on the band. Any big name established touring bands prices are about the same these days. I know that doesnt make it right...I guess I just accept it. I realize there are a few exceptions (Petty, etc.). I am just glad to be able to see them again and am bringing a friend who will experience FM for the first time. I am psyched!!

That being said, I think I am really starting to prefer Stevie solo versus FM. She seems much more at ease and willing to be herself when solo. I personally dont want to see the Lindsey Buckingham show. I saw that on the SYW tour and all those guitar antics are entertaining the first or second time....but get old over and over during the same show for me. Once again, my personal preference only.

I'm going to the concert tonight. I feel exactly the opposite of you, John. I would rather see Lindsey solo versus FM. I think that Lindsey pours his heart and soul into every concert that he performs. To me, Stevie seems to just be putting in her time. Maybe it's just the difference in their energy levels.

Unsure.

YES, if they come to Europe, NO if they don't.

I can understand what you are saying. I think Stevie totally holds back with FM these days. Her solo concerts are much more inviting and energetic. The dynamic between her and Lindsey has gone full spectrum these days and now I think it is just gone. Lindsey comes across as more energetic on stage to me mostly due to his having a guitar in his hands. Stevie, because she does not play an instrument, has to rely totally on her voice and personality and, now with FM, totally tries to take a back seat.

In 1997 I traveled to the US specially to see Fleetwood Mac.
I didn't do that for the SYW tour, and I wouldn't do it this time, for the same reason. It is not worth it if Christine is not there.

That doesn't mean I don't enjoy this lineup. But the effort of buying an air ticket and paying a expensive concert.. I only do that if it's the 5 members lineup.

However I'm travellig to Dallas for a work meeting, and fortunately few days before it's the Dallas concert. I'll stay at a friend's home the weekend, so I may say this less effort is worth it!! I hope I'll enjoy the show. Not a great seat but I'll bring binoculars

I am not 100 percent sure. I probably won't because tickets are expensive, and good enough seats aren't popping up for the Columbus date.

What about you?
Yes, I'm going to the AZ show...

I can't wait to here what they tweaked for tonight's show, in response to what worked and didn't work for them on Monday. I'll look for everyone's reviews.

Yes, Lindsey's energy is phenomenal. It's not because he's playing a guitar, because many people do and they aren't as kinetic. He's moving continuously and very rapidly. It doesn't stop. Even if it's not a lateral move. Then, it's up and down. I haven't seen the Rolling Stones live, but from the video, I get the feeling that Jagger is somewhat like that.

The constant motion is contagious and feeds the audience's enthusiasm. Lindsey seems to be enjoying himself, but even if he's not, there's a frenzy present that would never allow you to think he was disengaged. He also spends a lot of time making eye contact with the people in the audience below him. And although all he is doing is making faces, raising a brow or laughing, it feels like he is doing it in response to something and gives the illusion that he is having a conversation with the fans. With all that going on, sometimes the guitar is quite secondary. "Oh yeah, I'm playing that too!"
