Default Peacekeeper music video question

Hi guys-I'm new!
Firstly can I just say what a nice bunch you guys are-you rock!!
Anyway I was listening to "Peacekeeper" and thinking what the music video would be like(actually,I had a dream about it but nevermind....).
Do you think the director will reference the Stevie/Lindsey romance?I know that's not what the song is about but it is a FM song after all with a strong B&N harmony. "The Dance" long form video was so damn re-watchable because it was so rich with Stevie/Lindsey love sub-text.Those steely sideways looks;oh the drama!!(the highpoint being "Silver Springs" of course...).However the fact that this is a Lindsey song may rule this out.
Or do you guys think he might be do some sort of suble anti-war message(ala Madonna's new video)?
Perhaps it might be a straight down the middle performance video?
Whaddya think?

As I understand it, the fact that 'Peacekeeper' is the first 'single' means only that, at this stage at least, it has been given to radio stations for airplay. There has been nothing to say there will even be an FM video necessarily, though we can only hope there'll be more than one.

Oh, and Welcome Tusky to the boards!

If they do a video, I hope it will be a concept one that will somehow highlight the satire and irony of the lyrics. I'm really worried that the point of the song (as discussed in a previous thread) will be missed by most casual listeners if the band doesn't come up with some way of illustrating the lyrics. Maybe Mick could play some kind of insane military or political official leading his troops blindly into war. Maybe an ode to Dr. Strangelove.

Well, given that the 80's are over and now most videos are, like it or not , presented in a much "slicker" and produced form, I think the FM video will be killer. I am unsure if they will reference the "obvious" war theme that is seemingly associated with the song. That might be too risky in Warner/Reprise's view. I just hope they light and film Stevie and LB the way they did Stevie in the TISL videos (Everyday and Sorcerer). Not that she does not still look good if not great, but that lighting along with the camera angles and dare I say it digital editing took 20 years and 20 pounds off of her. I thought she looked as young or younger and as thin ot thinner than the 13 or so years younger Sheryl when they were standing together.

I think it would, however, be hysterical to have Mick as a deranged dictator - oh wait a minute, he says as sarcastically as possible, Mick already is both on and off of the web

lmao!! That would be hilarious! The camera could zoom into his eye and a vision of him with his hands around the earth and giving this evil smile!lol! Naturally, the earth would have to be coloured $green$....
