She also wrote or called Sharon Osbourne after Ozzy Osbourne was injured a few years ago. Sharon had a talk show and mentioned it.

Before the 2005 Vegas shows she also mentioned she would perform The Highway Man live. Never happened. She also promised a completely different setlist. Never happened. I was at the first show and yes she was great, but besides the screen behind her with photos and flying birds and such, it was the same ole same ole. Anything to sell tickets I guess...

Exacally. Most we delighted. ESPECIALLY at Bauty and the Beast which was NOT as SOME had suggested "sameolesameole"
( Niether, were as was already stated) if annyone falls, or how still my love, at that point. they hadnt been out to shine in YEARS.

I think many of the "celebs" today court the attention.

There had to be more to the Crowe thing. She is making too much of a point to say they Crowe made the decision. I have a feeling that Linds had more to say on the matter then we know.

She has said that she wanted another female to bring some balance and to have a "mediator" there but she and Stevie are such good friends that I can't see how Crowe could mediate betwenn Stevie and Linds and be impartial.

If I were Linds there is no way I would agree to her being in the band.

Well, as mentioned above, the way Sheryl announced her collaboration with the band also had a lot to do with why she got the boot. Stevie is just trying to help her friend save face, which I can understand, since Lindsey ran around saying unsavory things, in a manner that was uncalled for.

I didn't want her in the band (though having her as an opening act would have been fine). And I never want Lindsey distressed about anything, but he just got entirely carried away with himself. He's a menace. I can see why Stevie decided to put her own version of events out there. It was the gracious thing to do. However, the Mother's Day story is rather stupid. I don't believe those people called Sheryl to rehearse one single thing in May 2008. Michele

Agreed. She promised to bust out the old clothes etc. And BATB from those shows was the best I've ever seen live. Also that nice little four part harmony at the end of If Anyone Falls made up for the great parts of that song that she didn't sing. And the band did the best job of playing that song since The Wild Heart Tour. Thanks to Waddy it was very true to the original version. I was delighted to hear it in '90 but didn't care for the sax.

Thanks for posting, can't wait to buy that magazine! And as you said, if Stevie would be like celebs are today, there would be no Stevie Nicks. She is and will always be that gypsy queen of horses and laces, you know...and legwarmers, hehe! I wear legwarmers often and I love it!
