i think it'd be great to hear Stevie do a blistering cover of Aerosmith's "Big Ten Inch Record"--
well she said she wanted to do boy's songs! |

I think Stevie should admit her mistake on originally passing on the song and finally record "These Dreams". Last edited by LukeA; 02-16-2009 at 12:29 AM.. Reason: typo |

Nonono...most definately not! I love heart, but that song is nothing but warmed over Stevie lite...I think she was correct to pass on it....btw, having said that, the 96 version that was released on a single (I think) with more Ann vocals (on background) is pretty good ...

Did you notice that too??? I was watching the blu-ray and it seemed like it was something she said frequently. I loved it. Well, it was good to see her do songs that she likes. I wouldn't have minded if she had replaced a couple with Rooms on Fire, or Has anyone ever written anything for you...

Maybe, but that woman is fabulous! She cannot even help it!!! I laughed too. Seriously, someone should have fixed that in editing. Or they could have put in Beauty and the Beast, as they left it out...

No! I just don't like the song...it's the only song in Heart's catalog that I just can't stand...as I said earlier, the later version they did was an improvement, but it's still not a song I love... |

If Stevie records "These Dreams" for, say, "Rock a Little", it not only becomes her biggest hit, but becomes something of a phenomenon... say, something like Kim Carnes/"Bette Davis Eyes" (#1 for multiple weeks). I'm convinced of this.

Meatloaf tunes for Stephanie. You took the word right out of my mouth - but even more mellower, maybe accoustic?? It's all coming back to me now - But it has already been done by celine. Anything sorta Bat outta hellish. Im just wondering now if her nostrils could hold the notes? |

I've got another great one.
'Jealous Again' by the Black Crowes. The "Stop! Understand me..." part of the song would especially suit her so well! I would like to hear her do her own version, or sing it with Chris Robinson. Their voices would sound great together, and you can just tell the nature of that band would push Stevie to give a great vocal performance. Plus, it'd be another case of tambo-heaven. |

Well, I'd like to throw a few songs into the hat ... maybe Stevie would be enthusiastic about and like to go back to some of the roots of Americana music that she was introduced to as a child ... some great old country swing or bluegrass ... I can hear her doing some early Hank Williams, Harlan Howard, Carter Family, Willie Nelson stuff ... like "Will the Circle be Unbroken," "Walkin' After Midnight," "Heartaches by the Number," or "Walkin the Floor Over You." Do you think others would accept that? ANd maybe get Lindsey on the banjo for a couple tunes ... I bet he'd play a killer "Foggy Mountain Breakdown"! Just a thought ...
