Here's another pic from the mag. I think Leelee is a doll btw. Look at how she's sitting. She's such a little girly-girl. And look at Lindsey lookin' at Stella and William. His children are truly adorable and I'm convinced that Leelee could be some kind of model/actress if pushed in that direction.

Thanks. I overlooked the Table of Content's photo. It's taken from so far away, I don't even recognize those people.

Lindsey never wants actual Yahtzee! though when he plays. Too homogenous.

Wow you should have seen my bedroom then! I grew up mostly in an 18th century estate and was stuck with a 4 bed post old fashioned double bed....and even a portait of the Queen hanging in the hallway just outside my door! But even then it looked like a kids bedroom with stuff thrown everywhere, it's just that it's done up perfectly for the photo.

I truly hope they have a nice, lived in family room somewhere. The rest of the house does not looked lived in (although I realize that's part of the staging for the shoot). It does not look like a harmonious, comfortable place my inner feng shui master is telling me. It seems that there is a lot of going in different directions.

Am I the only one who thinks Kristen looks kinda different...like, uh, maybe a little more tight in the face?
I think she's had some fillers, especially in the cheek area. I don't recall her rack being all that either but that could be just the bra she's wearing.

I realize that Will's motor car is probably at a stand still and they are just posing for the camera, but if it isn't shouldn't Stella be sitting down? It'd be too bad if she got thrown off and broke her neck while her watchful parents were standing right there staring right at her.

Guess I have too many memories of being securely locked into the bumper cars at the fair as a child.

OMG michele, you go to that place like me. I immediately jump to the scariest situation and you are so right. Not only that, Lindsey's looking but he's, like, 8 feet away and, uh, I'm not sure he could just sprint like a 22 year-old to catch her, whereas Kristen is kinda just looking at the camera. Thankfully, I think it's just in a standstill and probably wouldn't be as drastic as we think if she did take a tumble....but still...

I had a vanity mirror and a large cream-colored chest at the foot of my bed with flowers painted on it. I think it held sweaters but I basically used it as the setting for my little barbie doll tea parties...aww to be young and girly...

But then when I turned 9 I got heavy into organized sport and started to become a tomboy and got rid of ALL of it by way of cousins, friends, some charity organizations. So I turned my room from white palace to dark brown furniture, two chairs, a piano, and music posters everywhere. And I haven't ever gone back to the dolls, even at my most nostalgic. Miss them I do not.

***Sorry for all that...just reminiscing when wearing a puffy white dress and having tea party conversations with my porcelain dolls was part of the daily agenda. Sometimes getting older can be a bitch.***
I love reminiscing about that kind of stuff too. I never liked my room when I was younger 'cause we weren't allowed to touch much. I had a piano in there aswell though but no music posters or anything 'cause it was an 18th century estate and was well kept on the interior. I went to public school in the UK from a young age and I loved being able to put posters on my wall and have a normal room but looking back now my room at home was beautiful....but probably not suitable. When I had a friend over I was allowed to go downstairs to what was once probably a servant's quarters and we could do whatever we wanted there, my brother and I even played cricket in the hallway there so we could really muck around. I don't think that the my boy's bedroom is that bad, my brother would have looooved to have a room like that instead of his one when we were little.

Cause it's the best flag! Obviously. Oh except for the Scottish flag but it's in there somewhere.

There's a picture on Kristen's website that I assume to be Leelee's room (all pink with a teddy bear, but not that girly). I'm pretty sure she's only eight though. I just would have thought the children's rooms would be more childlike and filled with posters, toys and knick-knacks, although it could be they cleaned them up for the photoshoot. I still think it's a beautiful house though

I suspect that in the world of the rich, there is probably one huge playroom filled with all of the brick-a-brack of normal kids, which means the bedrooms are pretty much museums of youthful idealism that double as sleeping space.

To Kristen's credit, she is not afraid of color, and I think it would have been all too easy to drape the house in a monotony of neutral tones that would not have looked out of place in a Crate and Barrel catalogue. But I think she is trying too hard to be a tastemaker. She seems to be pretty much doing a mash-up of BoBo (bohemian bourgeois) plus art deco plus farmhouse modern- there's just way too much going on. And the eclectic interior decor is completely at odds with the staid shingled country manor style of the exterior. I do appreciate innovative ways of mixing/matching different style genres, but I think is a tipping point beyond which your home begins to look more like a flea market than a living space.
