OT: RI Fire Donations

I am very sorry to post this thread here.
I KNOW that this thread does NOT belong here. However, I have put "Off Topic" in the header. I KNOW that there is a Chit Chat Forum but with the excitment that is going with the band most people just seem to come to this forum. I just wanted to make some people aware of this who might not be.

I know that some people online have asked me about this information. As we all know a horrific fire has taken place in a nightclub in my home state of Rhode Island. This tragedy occurred shortly after 11:00PM on Thursday February 20,2003 at “The Station” nightclub in West Warwick, which is about 15 miles southwest of Providence. The band Great White was performing a concert at the club. The death toll is now at 97. There are around 100 people in area hospitals that have serious health conditions due to this horror. I don’t have any loved ones involved Thank God, however in the world they say there are 6 degrees of separation. In RI it is more like a degree and a half. I did see the DJ who was know as Dr. Metal at the credit union that I work for and sadly he was a causality of the fire. I am putting out this information on behave of my love and concern for my fellow Rhode Islanders.
The credit union that I work has set up a fund for the Station Fire Victims. The donations can be sent to the credit union. The funds will be going to help victims as far as funeral and medical bills and any kind of consoling, etc.
