Best Movie Theme Songs

[fleetwoodtrick]

Reach Out ~ Cheap Trick (From Heavy Metal, like Blue Lamp!)
Running On Empty ~ Jackson Browne (From Forrest Gump)

Those are my only non-Stevie movie music faves that I can think of...

How about these??

Jailhouse Rock, by Mr. Elvis Presley

One of my favorites is the opening orchestral music to "To Kill A Mockingbird." It starts out slow (comes up fast?) but after about a minute and a half, the song blossoms into one of the most beautiful themes that reoccurs throughout the film:

An absolute CLASSIC... The childlike messing on the keyboard, then the development into the masterpiece, so fitting for the storyline.. I'm glad someone else appreciates this!

Film scores, I love most of Danny Elfman and even though his stuff is really repetitive (you can tell instantaneously from the rhythmic build up and triumphantic climax) I love John Williams too. I like the Dead poets society score aswell but I forget who it's by.

Film songs....I love Philadelphia by Neil Young and Streets of Philadelphia by Bruce sprinsteen.

Theme songs aren't just songs stuck in a film like Go your own Way was in Forrest Gump, right? It's got to be written for the film I thought.

wow, I just realized my 3 favorite movies have Fleetwood Mac or one of its members in the Soundtrack

Forrest Gump- Go Your own way
Back to the Future- Time Bomb town
Vacation- Holiday Road
