So much for the hits theme. I will be seriously P*ssed off if she doesn't do SOTM.

What happened to the thread on the Rumours board where we voted on our favorites? Wasn't someone going to make a narrowed down wishlist from that to send to each member of the band? Can't we all request "Sisters of the Moon"?

oohh storms! nor in my wildest dreams!! hhahahahaha i'm so glad they are doing it, but it's too bad if they don't try sotm. come on, I always hoped that somebody of us, the ledgies, would be Stevie or Lindsey!! I figure out the image of both making believe they are SN and LB hooligans each, and having raw fights in here. hahahaha.
"...but Stevie wasn't guilty because she couldn't stand Lindsey anymore..."
"...nooo, she only wanted to pack up and sh*ck up..."
So please, Lindsey and Stevie, since you spend hours in The Ledge...listen to us.
WE WANT SISTERS OF THE MOON!!!!!

That seems to be a popular choice with Da People. But I don't think it would be very exciting in concert.

Would it be delivered in Stevie's "honking" style? You know, where she goes at everything -- ballad or rocker -- full-throated, no vibrato, no dynamics in volume?

If she swigs a lot of gin beforehand -- & gets that nice gin-soaked sound -- it might be good. I'd like to hear it in the manner of Ida Lupino's rendition of "Again" in the film "Road House."

That was my first impression as well. I just cannot get my head around how this song would sound with her current "honk" singing style. But then again, we have all heard the live rendition of "Say Goodbye" where she sings in that light/wispy/airy head voice. It's odd that she pulls it out so sparingly... but at least she still has it.

Agreed. If she holds back & does a nice acoustic subdued version, it could be gorgeous. If she belts it out....not so much.

I wonder if she'll introduce the song with her extra long title of

"Always Been a Storm"

I am concerned: How will that sound? I am trying to imagin a FULL band version of Go Insane, and I just can't... I cannot wait. Also, I am so excited that some of the Ledgies who were not as excited are getting there. I knew that the Mac would pull something off that would get us in the mood- or close to it. I said that they should leave the back up band at home and give it to us raw like back in the day... My friend said to me, out of the blue, "They should form another toot line in the back before they come out like back in the day so that it is truly a time travel to the past." I said, "Well, they probably wouldn't make it through the entire show, lol... I am sure they would collapse and paramedics would have to be called." Those days have passed, and thank goodness.

The original version of Go Insane is full band. He also did a full band version on his last solo tour.

LOL. That would be in the Stevie tradition. At least she's consistent.
