I really like your design. Very simple but effective. I'm going into more colourful direction.

I have a design image but I can't download the placement image thing to show where the image goes on the shirt. Can someone help me out? I didn't use Illustrator or Photoshop, so it won't work.

I read the fine print for the contest again and I'm not quite sure if it is actually allowed to use photos from photoshoots? After all they are copyrighted and it might be a problem if the t-shirt actually won and got printed, no?

Other than that I started working on mine and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share recent photos of the individual band members on stage which I could use for the design. Please PM me.

Also, Moz, I could help you with the t-shirt placement thing.

I don't think we can use these photos either. From the rules it would seem you can't use any pics of the band that you don't own. Taking a looka t the other kinds of shirts, they are all original designs, no outside pictures, logos, or anything.

Well, we could always do drawings and scan them in - if you draw something based off a photoshoot and edit it a bit, that doesn't count as theft of intellectual property, does it? -, but for the design idea I have I would need photos of the band members "in action", taken by fans, so I won't get into any legal trouble.

Nope, not for realz realz.

Hey, I hope peeps don't get the wrong impression that FM is going to be selling their t-shirts as part of concert marketing or anything else. I hope peeps realize this is just a t-shirt company, that offers prizes to graphic designers for designing t-shirts, with a little buy-in by a band to use their name for light marketing of a contest.

Nevertheless, yep peeps could win 1) a place on the page for the company to showoff the winner's design, 2) knowledge that those running the contest make the $$$ by selling the winner's design on the company's t-shirts bought through the website, 3) top-prize money, 4) and a couple of tickets backstage (woohoo! I Love All Access! )
