Default How have you guys done with the Presales/Onsales?

Please post how you've done (as far as good seats go) if you've already bought tickets for this tour. I'd like to find out to get an idea of how my upcoming presales/onsales will turn out.

Thanks!!!

To me...they've sucked.
I was on every presale (Amex, whatever...) and nothing.
I don't have a ticket yet to any of the 3 concerts I'm planning on going to.
So, there you have it.

The Dallas presale in iloveaccess.com or American Express entertainment admits just credit cards from US and Europe. no latin country in the list. Absurd, in the past I've bought show tickets several times at Ticketmaster with no problem.

We bought our package on ILAA and we got the 5* with the Meet and Greet. So, I spoke to the lady and she said the seats were first come first serve and she said that we should be really good... We got ours as soon as they went on sale. I am hoping that we get center seats. They cold be row 5 for all I care as long as they are center.

I wanted to go with the Amex presale, but unfortunately I had to change my plans. Hopefully I can get some decent seat through Ticket Rush or Ticketmaster Marketplace.

Well, the ILAA website states that your seat number for the VIP packages will be available at the venue at the day of the concert only. :S This is why I won't buy a VIP package. If I knew I'd get a seat in the first few rows I'd be more willingly to spend so much money.

Now I'm convinced I won't bay any vip package! I agree with you. That system can't prove it is actually "first come first serve"

To me it's simple: I have been gotten to be close to Stevie and I will be meeting Mick. If I am a few rows from the front that will be fine. I am easy to please. I get to meet Mick and that rocks. So what if I am in the fifth row? I got to meet Mick. The price is steep, but I know I was one of the first to buy the package so... I know mine will be better than most others. I will be pleased.

I went to see Madonna and was about ten rows away and had a BLAST. I know if I enjoyed that as much then the cost is justified.

That AND I have seen Stevie 3 times and the Mac once before so... I am gonna be a happy camper regardless.

.
I hope you really get the best row possible. I'm single and sincerely I don't have big finnancial responsibilities, but this crisis makes me think twice before buying something expensive. I love to be in concerts very close to the stage, in the firsts rows. But the $700 hurts.

But it is not only about saving money and the not so good ILAA procedure. I was thinking, if they were the complete Rumours lineup, I'd pay for a 5stars vip package, just to be close to the 3 songwriters/singers and the rhythm section guys. Fleetwood Mac with those 5 has been magic to me, and that was the reason I went to NYC in 1997, paid my flight ticket, just to se the Mac. But this time I'm not so convinced. I'll go cause luckily I'll be in Dallas for a work meeting the following days of the concert, but.. I think I'll pay just for the best available seat on regular Ticketmaster sale. Cause I will enjoy a lot the show, but it won't be that magic, cause I miss Christine.

Well I could understand saving the money and times are tough, on everyone. I just want to hear the music. I cannot wait for the lights to dim and hear THUMP THUMP THUMP and the guitar playing THE CHAIN!!! Oh, to me- that is everything. No matter what comes after, the chain always sucks me in. Once I am in that mind set- I am there for the entire ride. Beginning to end- I am in it.

Now, I spent the big money because I wanted to meet Mick. So... the money purchased my moment with him and subsequently, a more respectable seat than I have ever had.

Let us see what happens...

Default PreSales

Since various Calif shows go on sale this morning I got up early and did a test run for the AMEX presales in both Georgia and Florida. Crap seats. The best I could get for Florida was Section 5, Row F (and that was the section in back of section 1). In Georgia (I didn't try there until 25 minutes into the presale) I got Section 1, Row S. So the moral of the story is unless Dallas proves better I'm not counting on AMEX for good seats here in Cali. Oh well.

As for ILAA-don't waste your money. They can screw you royally. Believe me I finally got tired of crap seats with ILAA 5 star and did better for both the Eagles (this summer) and Def Lep last spring. The food at the parties sucked and at one venue we had to pay for our own parking (even though it was supposedly included-long story don't ask). I actually got better seats the day of or a couple days before for both the Eagles and Def Lep waiting for ticket drops. I did 4 Eagles shows this summer and the worst seat I got was 3rd row center at the Borgata. Two of the other 3 shows I had front row. The best I ever did with ILAA was 2nd row but normally got 5th.

As for meeting Mick he does the M&G much cheaper with his Uncorked Tours. I could have seen him front row with a M&G, sit down dinner with wine for $250 at a casino here in Cali a couple months ago but passed. To me ILAA is a big rip off and I can imagine what the M&G will be like. They actually gave us popcorn and hot wings for dinner at one 5 star party for Def Lep and I and a few other fans got better seats at the box office waiting for the party to start with ticket drops than we ended up getting from ILAA.

I've meet Lindsey for free and talked to both his daughter and son at a recent show this past fall in Cali. His whole family sat right behind me (for a time-again another long story). I also met Stevie and Mick (in 2001 at Az Heart Assoc. concert) and payed $1,000 and meeting Lindsey was just as thrilling if not more so because I didn't have to pay all that money. But that's just my two cents about ILAA.

Thumbs down AMEX Presales

FYI in case you missed my other post, all AMEX presales sucked. I passed on both Los Angeles shows and will wait for general onsale or ticket drops.
