Default Stevie at Motor City Detroit

Well hello everyone,I must start by saying I love this site.I am known on here as the infamous stage jumper from motor city.I too cannot believe I done it.It was a chance of a lifetime,I was in the 2nd level that night by the bar, section 110.I just got up and casually walked down the stairs and to the stage area, and was all of 5ft away from Stevie,Security was not even alerted.I attempted to get up by myself but the stage was to high,I turned to my girlfriend and said when she's done introducing the band help me up there. It all happened so fast,I was up there and was like a deer in headlights, saying to myself what have u done?I ran to Stevie put my arm around her and told her I Loved her,and then stood quietly so she could continue to sing, with a big smile. She is so beautiful close up,absolutely flawless.I will never forget that nite for as long as I live. Thanks to the one's who caught the camera shot and video,Priceless.

Security was pretty bad that night........ I have to think it was because it was only the second show that was ever there--hopefully they learned a thing or two the night Stevie played!! LOL!! Although I'm grateful that they were pretty lax about cameras Well for the first half of the show anyways......... I had to laugh because when this happened my husband was like--they are yelling at you for taking pictures with a flash and they let some chick just jump on stage and just stand there..... it was pretty unreal how long it took them to actually go out and get her off of the stage--thank goodness she was harmless

And geez......... she was actually in the same section that I was........ if I would have known it was that easy to just go down in front I would have gone down there for the Edge walk..... I didn't even consider it!!!

I think stage jumping is extremely creepy...not cool at all. Poor Stevie. Why would a "fan" do that to her?

Totally agree!!! Things like that will force her into not being able to do the edge walk because her security team is going to view this as act of aggression.

Not cool at all!

Gotta agree. It's not like she invited you up there, or something, so you don't get any bragging rights other than, "Hi, I'm crazy and leaped onto stage with Stevie Nicks and likely scared the bejesus out of her and everyone in her band before security dragged me away, but I LOVE HER. I'm awesome!"

I can understand wanting to meet Stevie, because I would like to meet her myself, but stage jumping is not actually meeting her, it's just being incredibly disrespectful.

All the same, baby. All the same.

"You never know what I'll do. I've resequenced my show. I'm a master at sequencing. I'm the one who sequenced for Fleetwood Mac. I sequenced 'Rumours.' Everyone loves my sequences. They're fun.''

Totally agree!! I know I would never do something like that The bad thing is that it seems like once one person does it others follow suit...... I mean can't they wait until the Edge walk and just shake her hand???!!!????

Let us be honest with ourselves. There are people out there that do not care how their actions make others feel, or how it affects others.

So, to the stagejumper I say: I am glad that you didn't get taken to jail and that you are ok, but please don't do it again. I mean that with respect, but if things like this continue to happen it will only make it harder for level-headed fans to meet her.

I think things like this give the, "fan" a bad name. It's like Bette Davis said in ALL ABOUT EVE, "These aren't fans they are degenerates, juvenile deliquents, autograph fiends." I just don't want Stevie to fear the rest of us based on the actions of a few.

Honestly, it was one of the scariest moments I have ever had in a concert setting.
