5 Announced Fleetwood Mac 2009 Tour Dates - Page 4

xxxmx · #46 12-03-2008, 06:30 PM

tour announcement? this was a pleasant surprise. i wasn't expecting anything until after the holidays...

are we positive that the first show is in pittsburgh? i continue to regret not flying around for the first shows for SYW and i don't intend to miss this one, even if it is a greatest hits tour. and any excuse to get back to my hometown is a good one.

and ps, pittsburghers - mellon arena? cut that out. it's the CIVIC ARENA!

Of course they would start in Pittsburgh, since I've moved from there. I'll probably see them at MSG and maybe Jersey.....since I do live in NYC now. woot.

Holy sh*t Curtie, how are ya?

LOL on the Britney. My daughter wants me to take her to that

So you live in NYC now. Very cool

Glad to hear from you

The Starlake! (Okay, they renamed it to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Pavilion, but I refuse to call it that - it's the STARLAKE.) I love the Starlake, have seen so many great shows there. The CIVIC (quit renaming things, Pittsburgh, pfft, Mellon) Arena/Igloo is a great venue, too, though - I saw my very first concert there back in high school.

So I will totally be there in Pittsburgh, and will likely hit the Toronto show, too. Yay! Anyone want to carpool?

Unleashed implies you are breaking out with renewed vigor and intention. Nothing's holding you back. Quite frankly, they should have called it Leashed. Heeled. Tranquilized.

But yeah, I'll be picking up tickets. No doubt about that.

Michele

Apparantly, according to Pollstar, the tour and album are both being called "Unleashed".

^The more I visit this site, the more I miss the memories I've made with Ledgies. It all seems so long ago....

Will 2009 be the Ledgie Reunion Tour?

SNicksed · #51 12-03-2008, 07:12 PM

Albany on St. Patty's day?

I can't wait! I'd REALLY like to hit MSG for the first time too.

Oh, and Stevie - I don't care what Lindsey says. Please DO NOT "tone it down a little!"

i will not take another empty 6 pack of rolling rock to the head, if that's what you're getting at, curtie

SandyMac · #53 12-03-2008, 07:24 PM

I don't know... I kind of like the "unleashed" (Think Lindsey during ISA)
And yes... please Stevie... do NOT tone it down for this tour. Especially if they are going by "unleashed".

I am so excited right now. Finally, a DC tour date.

the only way stevie could tone it any further down at this point is to turn her hearing aid completely off.

YES! That title better be referring to her in a big way... Not a time to be holding back this time.

I love all of this Pittsburgh love/attention. It is such a great city, especially for rock. The Mellon is great, I have seen TSO there and I know of many amazing concerts that have gone through there (Bob Seger, The Police). It is going to be such a good concert.
