Default The Gold Top 1980 Model 1

So here you go guys its near ready. Its an original 1980 Rick Turner Model 1. Fully Restored and Sprayed Gold to soon commerate the Model 1 30yrs in the Making.
This is going to be absolutely awsome and very expensive. Its also signed Rick Turner 1980-2008 on the Back of the peghead.
I cant wait until Rick sends me more photographs. I already have someone very interested.

Ipost more pics as i get them if anybody is interested

Beautiful!

But I sure do like the rich wood look of the standard version, too.

Got an update in the last few days, I know things are going slow but I have now accepted that and I will get the guitars when they are ready and not a minute sooner. Thats fine by me.
So heres a couple of pics of my Lefty and the Gold top Vintage Righty

If anyone wants to make me an offer for the Gold Top PM me. Ricks says its one of the finest examples of an original model 1 he has seen. Its Number 70 something from the original batch of 100.

I like how they talk to you and don't talk to me. Unbelievable. Just out of curiosity...when did you pay for these instruments?

This is the most amazing guitar I have veer seen!! Its Sounds unreal and the depth to the colours contained within are breathtaking.
Its a real one of a kind. Rick has done a great Job. I Notice it has the zero fret too, something rick has stopped doing.

What do you guys think. Anyone wanna buy it....

Dude, beautiful guitar! Why did he go with the "wood" knobs though? I love that vintage headstock too...amazing. What is the zero fret? I've not heard of that. Are you gonna really sell it? I'm thinking about selling mine, too. If I can get 3k for it. I LOVE the guitar. It's wonderful, but I can buy a nice Cordoba for about $900 and keep the rest and help pay for the trip to NZ.

Damn, I just wish I could! I really, really wish I could Being a student I doubt it's in my price range. Want to give it to me for free?

Out of curiosity, what sort of price are you looking for it? You can PM if you don't want to say in the thread.

Ok, I'm a bit confused & skeptical about the "original 1980" part. Back then the cord jacks were still on the face of the guitar (like an ES-335), not the edge (like a Les Paul). What's up with that?

Rick probably moved the input jack, eh?
