I think you're on to something. Perhaps the REAL Republican Party will be reborn in the near future.

Well, there's Ron Paul.

I am unsure that, inter alia, withdrawing from NATO and the UN serves our best interest

Oh, you are one of those people who likes to "work with other countries?" What did they ever do for us?

I'm gonna bump this thread. I think that he was actually pretty good and fair in the time before the Presidential race, but he got a little more left on the air during the race. I thought that he would get better after it ended, but I think that he is not as balanced as he used to be. Anyone else notice this?

I am turned off by his delivery & his acerbity, but his protege (Rachel Maddow) is ten times worse. She is like a bratty junior high kid sneering at absolutely everyone & everything (except what SHE considers essential), delivering all her "news" & opinions with a smugness that is so off-putting to me, I find myself nauseated by it. I can't STAND her. She's exactly like one of those insufferable & self-gratifying yuppies I used to work with in the newsroom. A grotesquery.

I'm pretty much straight down the middle, but often lean left. MSNBC is nauseatingly unwatchable, and is every bit as obnoxious and partisan as Fox News.
