Welcome, I thought so too. And times are tight for a lot of people right now.

Wow, awesome. That amount I am sure will buy an iPod for a soldier.
Now just think what Ledgies could donate/accomplish if only they would put up the paypal account info. on the Nicks Fix.

Again, thank you Suze for arranging this. I know it was a lot of work.

I am waiting for an email so I can change the password to get into that account. I have been trying to do this for a week but I keep getting incorrect information. I think it is finally straightened out and I will be able to get the funds to my new account, write the check, and get it off to John at the Nicksfix ASAP. Sorry this has taken so long. Thanks for your donations!

On edit this is all straightened out and I'll be able to get the funds off today/tomorrow. I have received and claimed PayPal donations from the following people:

Deborah R
Arlene L
Stuart H (returned)
Dayna V
Margaret F
Jill L

On edit again, I received checks from:

Mariel D
Sandra M

The total amount of donations including mine is $335.60. I guess it is really not a lot but it is waay better than nothing. The average donation was $35 with donations ranging from $10 to $60.

Thanks SOOO much Suze for all of your hard work.. I KNOW how hard that is, to get anything organized...

Thank you Suze for putting the Ledge donation together. I appreciate your efforts.

I sent the donation along to John along with a card for Stevie with a photo (shown below) of she and her Dad at the AHI benefit in '98.

Stevie with her dad at AHI '98

I messed up the amount though but the good thing is that it winds up just being my donation that didn't get in. I know, how convenient for me

So I'll send that along today. Thanks for trusting me with your donations.

Also, at her show on Sun Stevie urged us to donate to the USO because our soldiers over there need music to keep going. I wish we'd known she wanted fans to give to the USO back in May!

Suze, thank you so much for doing this. I wish I had been able to contribute but the timing was horrible for me. And thanks to everyone who contributed- I know Stevie will be appreciative, as will the recipients.

You're welcome.

It really doesn't matter the amount, it really is the heart that counts! What a sweet gift, from a Stevie fan, Elizabeth

So John gave the $$$ to Stevie before she went away and it has never been deposited. I've sent him an email but have not yet heard back. I'm hoping it will still be deposited. I'll ask him again. Here we want to GIVE people money and it's a pain in the ass. I just don't get it.

Hey Susan..

Why does that not suprise me? I'm even wondering if he even bothered to forward it on, and not just blowing smoke.. I'm sorry it's so frustrating, as you're SOOO right. It's not like we are asking for anything back from Stevie's camp or anything.. geez..

I sure hope you hear something back from them soon..

Hugs,

Arlene

It's absolutely ridiculous. How long do I wait before I cancel the check? I can then rewrite one for the USO or something if everyone agrees on that.

I think you should just cancel the check now. I doubt anything is going to happen with it.
