This is the tiebreaker so we can move on to the final round and see which one of these songs will face The Chain!

If both songs happen to be tied after voting is over in this tiebreaker, The Chain will win.

Rally!!!!!!
Go GYOW.
I'm surprised at such hatred for such a seminal Mac song. Maybe more people should have turned their radios off when they were hearing it too much.
Do you go to the bathroom when it starts during a Mac or LB show? (Not meant nastily, I was actually wondering.)

Which is more tired and worn-out - a 70 year old hooker, or a 40 year old Russian submarine?

Wink

GYOW is superior, I have to say. It's a tough choice though because both the songs are genius. And yes, THE CHAIN is the best song on the album.

I think calling GYOW inferior to GDW is hardly "hatred". It's gotten to 3rd place on one of the most solid and beloved albums of all time. Not hatred by any stretch.

GDW is just more special, I say. There's nothing else quite like it.

I kinda thought this quote sounded a little hatredy -- Die GYOW, die!
Everyone's allowed their own opinion on all of it, that's what makes these fun. But these are all Mac songs. We're not talking Britney here.

What's the tiebreaker for the tiebreaker?

Hmm, true enough macpie. And I do agree that ripping on a song because you hear it on the radio too often is a bit unfair. That's not the song's fault, after all.

Verrryyyy eenteresting...

Come on like, GYOW is a superior song, also my favourite lyrics of all time, sums up every emotion a man feels during a breakup tbh, I think his honesty in this song is almost frightening. Also, the bass line and guitar solo and drums, and basically everything make it better than GDW. EVERYTHING.

Reason it's overplayed on the radio: It's better than GDW.

This was very difficult, but for me the nod goes to GDW.... GYOW is a happier song.
