ROUND 9: Lindsey Buckingham Survivor: 21st Century Edition
ROUND 9: Lindsey Buckingham Survivor: 21st Century Edition
ROUND 9 WILL DECIDE THE SURVIVOR FROM SAY YOU WILL AND GIFT OF SCREWS. ROUND 10 WILL DETERMINE THE SURVIVOR FOR UNDER THE SKIN. ROUND 11 WILL DECIDE THE ULTIMATE 'best of the buck' SURVIVOR (WE WILL VOTE FOR FAVORITE IN A THREE-WAY POLL). I thought it would be fun to celebrate Lindsey's achievements this decade by running a Survivor Challenge of his released studio tracks. The rules are simple, vote to eliminate one track from each album. When we're down to one track per album, those three tracks will battle for survival. The champ title: Lindsey Buckingham's best track in the 21st Century (so far). May the best Buck win! I will try to update this every day at noon. You have 24 hours. Say You Will Steal Your Heart Away Bleed To Love Her What's The World Coming To? - Round 8 Red Rover - Round 7 Say Goodbye - Round 6 Love Minus Zero/No Limit - Round 5 Murrow Turning Over In His Grave - Round 4 Peacekeeper - Round 3 Miranda - Round 2 Come - Round 1 vs. Under The Skin Cast Away Dreams Down On Rodeo Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind Show You How - Round 8 It Was You - Round 7 Try For The Sun - Round 6 Under The Skin - Round 5 I Am Waiting - Round 4 Shut Us Down - Round 3 Not Too Late - Round 2 Flying Down Juniper - Round 1 vs. Gift of Screws Wait For You The Right Place To Fade Love Runs Deeper - Round 8 Gift of Screws - Round 7 Did You Miss Me - Round 6 Great Day - Round 5 Underground - Round 4 Bel Air Rain - Round 3 Treason - Round 2 Time Precious Time - Round 1 Here's my ballot for this round. I vote to eliminate: Say You Will: Bleed To Love Her Under The Skin: Cast Away Dreams Gift of Screws: W8 4 U

I can't believe Steal Your Heart Away, Bleed To Love Her and What's The World Coming To were the last 3 Say You Will songs.
Eliminate SYHA Under The Skin... Cast Away Dreams has to be next out Gift of Screws... Right Place To Fade. Because Wait For You rocks.

SYW- Bleed to Love Her
UtS- SGCYM GoS- Wait for You I will keep my angry comments about the remaining sources to myself. But Red Rover deserves to win much more than Steal Your Heart Away AND Bleed to Love Her COMBINED. Sorry. Last edited by GoS; 10-08-2008 at 12:09 PM..

BTLH
CAD Right Place to Fade I might like SYHA and BTLH equally, but I heard BTLH for the Dance. It didn't need to be on SYW. Of course, SYHA was on the Best Buy CD as well, but that was still less exposure. Michele

Quote:
Please, I beg you, do not let Down on Rodeo or SGCYM outlast Cast Away Dreams!!!!!! Cast Away Dreams is just such a touching, moving, beautiful song. I might be able to (barely) survive the loss of Red Rover and Not Too Late, but this would just be devastating!!! P.S. Do you think that I had enough no's up there?
