Just Recorded New Demo on My Laptop: "Slip Away"-Check It Out!!!

Musicman408 · #1 09-27-2008, 09:58 PM

Alright, I know a lot of you all know about my issues with having a band and whatnot. This being said, I wanted to let you know that I have met a really cool guy since I've been at school, named Kevin who plays guitar. Anyway, to make a long story short, we recorded a demo last night/this morning and I really wanted to share it with you all. I know a lot of you have wanted to know what I sound like on the piano and whatnot. In this song, I play the piano, the bass, and I'm doing all the vocals.

So yeah, check it out if you'd like, and feel free to say anything you like about it.

Hope you enjoy!!!

Alright, try that. I redid some of the lead vocals from the original. It is a work in progress.

I was able to download from the first link.
The vocal is hard to hear, but whoever is doing the keyboards...oh my...very good.
I like your song.

Now I guess I have to download your third link as you say the vocals are better.

Thanks so so much. I really appreciate it. Yeah, the levels on the vocals, even on the newer version can still be tweaked. This was my first song on this laptop, so I'm still learning.

And thanks so much for the keyboard compliment. That would be me playing. I'm glad you got a chance t listen to the song. I appreciate it.
