The CD that comes with the vinyl claims to be sourced from the uncompressed vinyl master.
Has anyone who has the vinyl LP listened to the accompanying CD to compare the two different CD masters?

To your senses it appears to be perfect (You can see how full it is and you can feel how full it is) Now imagine you mow that same yard down to a 1 inch height of grass (This is the compressed recording), while it is still nice and comfortable it is missing alot more of the plushness and fullness that the 3 inch tall grass yard has. That appeal from the 3 inch yard has been reduced in size, while it is still the same yard...it is COMPRESSED of what made it a better yard. Btw, the MFSL vinyl version of Tusk smokes all the other available version

i haven't played the vinyl-cd yet to compare to the regular cd. my speakers are all jacked-up and i'm not sure I'll be able to tell the difference (on vinyl, the first two tracks seemed to gain the most).
