I was a bit concerned at first but after Hillary's speech last night and Bill's tonight I feel alot better about party unity ..Bill Clinton is just so damned smart .After listening to someone who can't even intelligently complete a sentence in the White House for the last 8 years I had almost forgotten what a real President sounds like . I have to admit when Barack walked out in a surprise entrance after Joe Biden's acceptance speech my eyes involuntarily welled up ..flame away iamnot and ajm.

I know. I, too, welled up a bit when Bill spoke. Times were better then and eight years of W's "vernacular" ( ) have lessened me. Mind you, I am no huge fan of Bill Clinton's, but I'd take him back in a second over anything running right now

He was good at being president, about as good as anyone will ever be at that job. He's perfect for it and what's more, I think he really does care about people.

I stil maintain that there like is some sort of restaining order against us at CP

And, I agree - for all his faults, Bill Clinton would never have allowed this country to slip into the debt hell it is in right now.

What's amazing to watch about the DNC (and it's the same for the R's at their convention) is how the people eat it up. They know what's coming, and still they eat it up. The looks on their faces, the crying. Lambs being led to the slaughter.

Hearing the truth at these conventions would be a revelation.

Again this is for both sides.

I have to say I agree. It drives me crazy when both sides make these sweeping generalizations that do not tell the whole story and make these mostly unfounded insinuations. But, people love it I guess, disappointing really.

It's a show, pure & simple. I will say that I'm a tad bit surprised that there isn't more mudslinging - most people are actually complimenting McCain & stating he's a friend. Of course, then they go on to explain why they won't vote for him.

Ok, it's guys like this who make the liberals look REALLY bad. The article that accompanied this picture said that this dude tried to “levitate” the Denver Mint on Monday, shake out its money and redistribute the wealth."

I know there are nuts on both ends (trust me).. but this is just funny!

How do you know he's a "liberal"? He sounds more like an anarchist or socialist. I have seen people here from all political persuasions (trust me) in case you missed my earlier photo essay.
Being here I can tell you that this thing is more of a party, a celebration and a fun one at that. I'd bet next week's convention is half as fun as this one. Also, the Denver Mint only makes coins so he's gonna have a hrd time redistributing the wealth that way.

Well also in this article it states that these guys attacked and were advocating for the death of Michelle Malkin after seeing her in the croud taking pictures. So I just assumed they couldn't have been conservatives.

But that said some of these guys are from the "Recreate 68" movement.. so I souldn't have lumped them in with everyone else who calls themself "liberal".. so I'm sorry. Because I hate when people do the same with me when I tell them I am a Republican.
