Hmmm...
"Broken, Beatened & Scarred" - Metallica from the new release "Death Magnetic".
I received my copy today, that I preordered online, and all I have to say is "WTF is up with the production of this album?" I have NEVER heard an officially released album that had a sound that sufferered from 'audio clipping' and 'frequency muddiness' that this one does - Does Rick Rubin EVEN try to 'produce' an album these days? His 'production' took what could have been a very good album (Their best since 1991) and reduced it to sounding like 192kbs mp3's that had been degraded 3 times over...This is the second metal release the past few years Rubin HAS ruined (Slayer's "Christ Illusion" being the other and suffering from the same FLAWED sound)
