Plus, The Dance likely is the last time MTV actually did something like that I suppose VH-1 does Storytellers still, but I would not know as I do not get VH-1. I think PBS' Soundstage sort of took over the Uplugged MTV thing, which I think The Dance, though plugged, was part of.

Actually I think a lot of older rock/pop artists are venturing over to "country stations" like CMT to promote their music. The Eagles, Robert Plant with Alison Kraus, Bon Jovi, and Bob Seger to name a few. Weird huh?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I'm not putting Rhiannon high on my list just yet.

I say, Sorcerer and Edge are going to be the high points.

I still tape VH1 classic every once in awhile, but it's usually for eighties related revues. When Chris was promoting IMT she did appear on VH1 for an interview. But I don't know if anyone does current day concerts on that channel.

Actually, truth be known, I am anxiously awaiting Stevie's duet with Vanessa Carlton on "The One". THIS will be the show stopper!

Oh and I know Strand is salivating over the thought of a pristine version of Circle Dance. I'm digging the thought of that as well, but I got real high hopes for Sorcerer and actually rhiannon. She's been doing that way better in 2008, so if she puts that extra soundstage umph i'll be happy.

Same here.
I never though much of the song and usually wish she's drop it.
BUT, when I saw her perform the song live on the Gold Dust Tour (I think it was called that), I was actually blown away and loved it. This was a Chula Vista/San Diego show on that tour.

I hope that Carlton chick doesn't ruin it

As for Sorcerer, I like it enough. I still wish she'd dump it for Talk to Me or Rooms on Fire.

You're never too old.

My program of choice for downloading YouTube content (and others) is:
TubeSock (Windows XP/Vista/Mac OS X)
$15

I can just rip audio too if I do not want the video. Woot.

I know. I say the same thing. But that last time I saw it, I was really, really surprised.
Hurray.

Ok, I want ROF too, but if she cut Sorcerer for TTM, which I find rather pedestrian, I'd have to slit my throat.

Seeing the slide show in Landslide and recorded for this will be a tender moment.
Looking forward to Sorcerer/GDW (on a larger screen)/Edge wail and walk recorded/and Rhiannon with the old top hat.

I forgot about "Landslide"! OH YEAH!! Definitely. It's hard to keep track of all of Stevie's hits!

Just watched part one again, it was shown on a different PBS channel.
Got goose bumps during Sara , thought I was too old for that.
