I am sitting in a coffeehouse, so I'll holding back my tears; I'd be bawling if I was at home. That GDW is WONDERFUL. My mom would have LOVED this show. GDW was always one of her favorites and very much one she could relate to with her addictions, lousy husbands, etc. I feel her watching this with me and totally rocking out.

And Stevie just looks so gorgeous. I've been feed up with her for the setlists and stuff, but I am totally in love again. There is just no one like Stevie!

They had BETTER air this in Atlanta

I am just so totally overwhelmed right now. I love Stevie so much. I love my mom so much. They are so similar in so many ways....

I said this to someone before, but what's sad is we know what was all performed that night including two versions of Landslide one with an orchestra without the audience (according to the setlist), and like Lindsey's we won't get everything performed that night in film or audio - unless they do like The Dance and have more tracks on the audio portion then on the dvd...

Yes, that's probably true, and even I grow tired of the same old songs setlist after setslist, but Dreams at least should show up somewhere somehow...

Stevie and her band have really breathed new life into this song I think. I love the way it's being performed these days. It's totally captivating in its' dark and hypnotic draw. LOVE IT!

If Sorcerer or How Still My Love had been taken out, I would have boycotted.

Not sure I would have boycotted, but would have been very, very disappointed.
I think this is gonna ROCK and sell quite a bit.
Do they give out Grammy nominations for stuff like this?

I hope she and Lindsey stand on opposite ends of the stage and don't even come close to touching each other. I'm so over that that phony bull**** on stage. With Waddy and Stevie you can tell it's real. They love and respect each other in a much deeper way than Lindsey and Stevie ever could(at least now). Of course that's just my humble opinion. And no more talk about TUSKING, it's not prime time yet.

My area isn't even coming up with any Thursday dates. The only showing I have is Sunday at midnight! And I can't record it.

I just love this version of Gold Dust Woman... harder hitting and darker than it has been in many years. I was just expecting another blah run of the mill performance, but this one almost blew my socks off .

I just found out Soundstage will finally be on in Charlotte this Sunday. Seeing the video makes me wish I knew some local chiffonheadsto invite over to watch it together... I'm totally psyched about it now after seeing GDW!!!

I totally agree with you. This performance is much more "Stevie" if you know what I mean. More intense. A Soundstage party would be fun.
I am going to try to record the Saturday showing in our area. I like the fact that it is HD, but limits the audience because it is not available in all markets or cable stations, etc...
I am recording it right onto my computer because I have a TV card that is HD ready.

I'm sooo tempted to click and watch, but I'm gonna wait 'til Thursday. I'm weird that way...must have surround sound and the right ambiance. Note to self: Pick up some more Nag ChampRa before Thursday.
