Actually, he "lost" it before the Tusk tour even started. That pic is a '78 pic.

These photos were all terrific Sanne! However these two really are a standout for me. Now the first one is kinda funny to me because she looks chubby at that angle and tired too. If I didn't know it was a Tusk photo I might have thought it was taken during Street Angel.
She also makes me want to have a glass of (milk)?

I know we are up to Wembly, but here's something i clipped out of the paper years ago. It was also my first ever rock concert. ( I was 15)
This was a half page add.

Would like to say a big thank you. I went to one of the Tusk shows at Wembley Arena - I was around 16 years old and it was fantastic, but I don't remember Stevie looking like that, but it was a long time ago! I should imagine after doing such a long tour Stevie was probably very tired - living the life style they all lived back then. Thanks for the photos they are fantastic.

I have this same newspaper clipping but from the New York Times and my version says in the top right corner, "only 2 New York City Performances!" Just like that with an exclamation mark at the end.

Sanne, if you have any pics of Lindsey in just a Fruit of the Loom t-shirt and jeans, please post them. That's what he wore at the Rotterdam show of June 13 1980.

Because it was my very first Mac concert. He wore a dark blue Fruit of the Loom t-shirt and very tight jeans.

After this show celebrity guest Bette Midler joined Fleetwood Mac, friends, family and crew backstage for that infamous pie in your face party. I only have two photos from this fun filled event. If anyone has more please feel free to post.
After this show the band takes a month off for vacation and the tour resumes April 30th.

vivfox and Sanne2 thanks for the pictures of the "infamous pie in your face
party". This is the first time I've ever seen those pictures....cool

Anybody got more???

This thread brings back so many memories for so many people. I can't believe it is 28 years ago today - my first Mac concert,I was only 16 and the first big concert I had ever been to. Little did I know that FWM would be a part of the rest of my life. I remember going up to London for the day and it all seemed to big, and there was a massive anti nuclear demonstration going on in Oxford Street, it was so amazing. Then we went to Carnaby Street that was still quite hippyish. Then to Wembley, I don't remember if there was a support act and I can't find the tickets. Our seats were about 3/4 way down and we had a pretty good view. I was mesmorized throughout. Strangely enough I don't remember much about Lindsey - Christine and Stevie stayed in my memories (strange because at Say You Will it was def. Lindsey who made the concert special). My favourite song from the Mac at that time was Angel. The whole concert was brilliant and then at the end (worrying about getting the last train home) just walking out and Christine came on in the darkness and did Songbird - it was just fantastic. I feel very excited about i just thinking about it. Is there anyone else on here that went to that concert?

Anyway, thanks for the Thread and for all the memories.
