Default Chicago "LANDSLIDE" dedication~
dear "ledgies"~
is there anyone who was at the chicago show who knows, remembers or has audio/video record of excatly what stevie said when she dedicated "LANDSLIDE" to a fan named "melissa winburn"? that's me...and of course, i heard nothing beyond my name, as i was utterly stunned wondering how she knew my name...i've never been on this site before and am sorry for taking up so much room...but if anyone knows anything i would be deeply grateful for you sharing with me...

Basically , thats all she said, this is dedicated to YOU of course. She said basically that you were overriding her dad that night. What did you do or say or send to her that would make her mention you?? Yes, we all heard it.......................

Hello Melissa!

I met you after the Chicago show -- I was the girl wearing the "Chiffonhead" shirt and moon necklace that you commented on. I bet you're still on a high after that dedication...it was one of the coolest Stevie stories I have ever heard! Congrats again...I'm so happy for you!!!

my friend kim somehow contacted an agent or publicist of stevies attempting to arrange for me to meet her...i DID NOT know about this... i've never really cared for "arranged" meetings they can be artificial...well, the request to meet her was obviously denied, but apparently whomever my friend contacted forwarded this request to stevie/her people and instead of a meeting, stevie dedicated "landslide"...that is the reason i did not hear anything beyond my name...my friend kim who was at the concert w/me had such a reaction and was explaining this to me...because i truly did not know....i was hoping someone would have audio/video (youtube) so i would know exactly what was said and have the "full memory" instead of the "stevie nicks once said my name memory"....thank you for your quick response(s) and thank you both [i'm not that computer savvy] for welcoming me and not being mad about my lengthiness...

hey...no making fun...i've NEVER been in "blog ?, chat room, online communication thing" before in my life...so i am unfamiliar w/protocol...this is an amazing way to "connect" w/people...in my world, they call me "WILMA" (from BEDROCK)....

I remember her saying that you (Melissa) had been to all of her shows, and that the only other person she knew who had been to all of her shows was her (Stevie). It was cute. So have you really been to that many shows?

i have been to too many shows to count...i did miss the "tango" show due to being sooooo incredibly pregnant...i really regretted it...but only until "the dance"....most of the shows have been here in chicago or the surrounding area (w/in like 6-7 hours)...but like the rest of "us", i'm no stranger to airplanes, "midnight" or otherwise...and "david" if you are who i think you are, it was great meeting you...and you really are tall, because i felt short...and that doesn't happen very often...
