Yes, but I mean is that why she went on her latest rant? In the past, she blamed the people who took her recordings, not the people who ended up with them.

If you pinned her down on specifics, when she said fans are stealing songs, which songs would she actually be talking about? Does she think fans copied TISL tracks?

I don't think she thinks anyone stole her SYW songs because she feels no one wants them, thanks to Lindsey.

So, where were the accusations coming from? I think it all goes back to her leaked demos. Other than that, does she have examples of fans passing her commercial releases around rather than buying them?

She could have been at Walter Reed wondering how the troops were enjoying those Ipods she passed out and she looked down and realized they all had 5 different versions of Smile at You on their play list, which is when she decided to call all her hard core fans thieves.

Hey, I thought this "Quick Hits" part at the bottom of the article was interesting:

I don't think it's a fake, but when they ask by yourself or with others, I don't believe her "by myself" answer.

She doesn't hate Madonna does she? I thought she just thought the kissing was disgusting.

What's to hate? All those great dance songs over the years ... I bet Stevie loved those songs, just like the rest of the pop-radio audience in the '80s & '90s. Stevie wasn't listening to Zappa or Miles Davis, I guarantee y'all.

I seem to remember an interview where she said something to that effect, yes. By the same token, I definately recall friends of mine even back in 1983 or so, commenting on the photos in 'The Wild Heart' album and saying there was some heavy sapphic undertones. I know that wasn't her intention, but the three ladies posed cheek to cheek all the time, languidly looking at each other on shag rugs in chiffon gowns with bottles of wine and candles....well, the thought passed my mind too!

And gay or no, if Aguilera were standing next ot me in frilly white garters, I'd plant one on her too!

Oh, I think Stevie did probably say she'd rather be by herself, I just don't believe her. During the SYW promos she was saying something about Lindsey being a loner and she said that even though he has a family now he is still a loner at heart and she said she was too.

Also, a long time ago, talking about Gold and Braid, she said that she just never wanted to share that much of herself with anyone. Now, that could be true. That she does not want to tell anyone every little thing she does and thinks, every place she goes, but as far as being by herself -- I think she likes an entourage, herself at the center of activity. But she probably doesn't see herself that way.

She probably sees herself alone in her solitude, walking on the beach, studying shells and being soulful and contemplative all the time. Michele

Stevie Nicks on Madonna/Britney kiss: "the most obnoxious moment in television history"
AP | September 19, 2003 | By Nui Te Koha

Britney kiss angers Nicks
STEVIE Nicks rates the notorious Madonna-Britney kiss as the most obnoxious television moment ever.

"First of all, Madonna is too old to be kissing someone who is 22," the Fleetwood Mac singer told the Herald Sun.

"And Britney should be smarter than that. Hopefully, she will figure a way out of this hole she has dug for herself."

Original rock chick Nicks, 55, said Spears and Christina Aguilera should wear more clothes and try writing decent songs.

"I personally have never been to a strip club, but I turn on MTV and see in every single video what it must be like to be at a strip club," Nicks said.

"I think the mystery is gone, and if you have no mystery, then you aren't even sexy.

"Real sexuality and sensuality is in the music, and all these girls, vis-a-vis, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and on and on, should go back to writing songs and start over because it won't last and they won't last.

"When they are 55, they won't be around and that's sad because I think a lot of those girls are very talented. But they are signing their own death warrants."

Nicks was appalled by Madonna's publicity stunt kiss with Spears at the recent MTV Awards.

"I thought it was the most obnoxious moment in television history," she said.

"Madonna will be fine. Madonna is Madonna. She does what she wants. She will get over this. But will Britney get over it? I don't know."

Nicks revealed Madonna asked Jennifer Lopez to be in the smoochy routine, but J.Lo told Madge to kiss something else.

Nicks is the ultimate rock survivor, weathering drug addictions, depression and a tumultuous relationship with Lindsey Buckingham.

She also said in the early 80's in the Molly M. interview:

Molly: Stevie Nicks "superstar" could be classed as a… I don't know.. of how Madonna is these days and perhaps Whitney Houston in the future…

Stevie: I am so much older than they are Molly

Molly: Sure… and still as pretty, but here you are in their same league - I see you walk forward with those people

Stevie: Because why? Because why? Because they are the "great singers" and the "great great players"

Molly: Because you're talented - you don't think you're talented?

Stevie: But I wanted to go see the great singers and the great, great players

" Madonna and I are kind of soulmates. She’s a hardworking, spunky little lady and I’m sure she’s going to end up like me. I’d love to do a duet with her some day."

And before anyone says it's fake, I knew the guy who did this interview and it's not fake.

To me, Molly seemed to be more under the influence of drugs than Stevie.

Ever since I saw these interviews, I thought Molly was under the influence ... of Stevie. But she seemed smitten with him, too. I definitely think Stevie was trying to get a date -- & for all I know, got one.

Their mutual smittenness probably resulted in some of the stupidest non sequiturs ever heard on Australian TV.

Madonna and Stevie soulmates??? I don't think so. Definately a fake article. Don't believe everything people tell you as the "truth." Any woman can ask her husband if she looks fat in that dress. I guarantee her, he won't be telling the truth!
