Thumbs up A Rather Unfortunate Outing

Alright, so I just woke up this, the morning we are to leave to see Stevie. I actually had a Stevie dream last night, and sadly, I was rather shocked at how dissapointing it was in most aspects.

We got to the venue, it was nice. I had my two copies of my letter with me, ready to give them over. The show itself was alright, nothing special. The edge walk came, and I totally was not prepared for it. Now, our seats weren't amazing, but something in me just told me to run.... And run I did. I kind of closed my eyes and just went for it. Eventually the crowd stopped progressing and I wasn't to the stage, but I was a lot closer. Then all of a sudden, boom, and I was right on the stage. It's like, how did I get here.

Actually, not that I recall, we all got to the stage, BEFORE edge was even played, so we saw a couple of songs. But yeah, it was just me there, not mom or sister, and come to think of it, my dad wasn't even there.......

So anyway, Edge comes and happens and we're so exciting about the walk. Stevie got inturrupted midway to do some sort of shopping somewhere (I know, crazy, but it is a dream) and then she comes back and finishes up. She gets to me and I grab her gloved hand and kiss it and I tell her I love her. She doesn't say anything, and really doesn't even look at me. I then get my letter, which for some reason was wrapped in a larger box, not an envelope. I present her with the box, and she just kind of looks at it and in the most careless, "i don't give a darn" voices, chipes, "nope". She then moves on. I remember trying to hide my dissapointment from everyone around me. Shortly after I woke up.

Needless to say it was a dissapointing dream and I don't know how to read it, but anyway I just wanted to share and figured you'd get a kick out of it. Any thoughts or comments would be cool.

Much Love,
Ethan

ROTFL! I think it's a little something called...attention.

Well, unless you have a history of aspects of your dreams coming true, I'd say this one was just a manifestation of your hopes and doubts regarding receipt of your letter and that it's more about you and apprehension than it is about what's likely to occur.

That was a funny dream. I liked the part where she took a break to go shopping and then returned to the stage. Also she looked at your box and just like in the HBO Bella Donna concert she thought to herself, "I can't carry that!"
I've had many dreams about Stevie and FM in the concert setting. One of my favorites was from the 1980's when I dreamed I was onstage singing and playing the tambo in between Stevie and Lindsey while they were singing too.
