Debbie, I remember on that other board you asked me to make you a copy of this show in Holland. Well last night I dreamt that there was a bouquet of flowers waiting for me when I got home. They were from Stevie with a note asking me to find the best copy I can get a hold of, of this show, and record it for, and then send it to her.
Oh, if only dreams could become reality...

Anyway, this proves it wasn't used just for the European part of the tour but more like some concerts here and there.
So it wasn't used during the whole tour?

The Band gets a few days off and then fly overseas to begin their European Tour in June.

This is a photo of John during the Tusk Album recording sessions

I loved "Tusk" the very first time I heard it too. Although I had heard it for the first time in 2004/2005, I was only familiar with "Rumours." And most people I knew that heard of the band mostly liked "Rumours" and the White Album. I could remember listening to it and loving every single thing I heard. I was amazed by it and thought I was alone in thinking that "Tusk" was better than "Rumours." Wasn't until I met more hardcore FM fans that I realized I wasn't. I will always adore "Rumours" but "Tusk" will always be my favorite.

I'd like to think that I would have enjoyed Tusk more immediately when I first heard it, if I'd had more musical experience at the time. It had to grow on me. Michele

That era may have played a huge part as well. Back then most people thought it was a weird sound, so it was harder to accept right away. You didn't hear a lot of it on mainstream radio. I can certainly see how someone wouldn't like it at first after coming off "Rumours." I still can't fully explain why I liked it as much as I did.
