Lit is part of my last name.
and 18 is the day of the month I was born on, and my fave number

Sahara is the name of a short story I wrote a few years ago, which was inspired by Stevie's music.

That was the old AOL username I used when I started going online in 1993, because I didn't know how to set up my own account so I used his. Eventually he stopped using it completely and it was 'mine'. It just carried over into other things eventually, like this board.

Silly, right. To use a user name that was a tribute to someone you loved, when that person doesn't exist in your life anymore..
I think I have referred to you as "Pete" when addressing you in PM's

Anyway, my name is Janet, but most people call me Jannie. I wanted to be "Jannie", but apparently there already *is* a Jannie on this board. A Jannie that never posts.

I created this screen name when I was 15, thinking that I was cleverly disguising my Fleetwood Mac love in a way that Fleetwood Mac fans would recognize, but that I could use elsewhere and not have people be like "OBSESSED!" First four letters of Lindsey, first four letters of Buckingham, backward. So clever, I thought I was. I added the 17 later, since it's the day I was born and you almost always need numbers these days or else the word is already taken.

Cait is my name, and I wanted something 80s that wasn't a number. So, like, totally.

Now I might change it to something lyric inspired if I could. I just started posting again after a long lurking phase, and thought about registering with a fresh SN. But nah, this name does still make me smile.

I've called you Pete from time immemorial.

Nobody likes the name John, John.

Even Jesus refused to address John the Baptist as John, preferring instead to call him Jack, or Chicomambasso in quieter moments.

I was my mother's, and older sister's "Johnny-boy" until I was in my teens. But Pete is as good an alter-ego as any, Miss Jackson if you're nasty.

Well Mine is a combination of a couple things. My first name being David of course. M is the first letter of my last name, which is Marx, and Mn is the abbreviation for the great state of Minnesota, where I'm from. So that's now I picked my name.
