i went out on my eighteenth birthday for ink and came home with a ginormous dragon on my back. my mom wasn't as impressed as i'd hoped
many years later, i still love it and have still never figured out how to take a proper photograph of it.

i held out for eight more years and got myself a "present" for my birthday this year. and as soon as that $600 gov't rebate comes, i'm going to stimulate the economy with two new pieces (and an imported bottle of absinthe).

Well they're adorable. You're too young to remember this, but there used to a syndicated talk and radio show personality named 'Sally Jesse Raphael' who was known for her red glasses. Her glasses though were usually very, VERY red. Don't know if she's still on, or not. She was like a female version of Phil Donahue or a white version of Oprah, but then her show went completely tacky with 'Redneck Makeovers', 'Help, my daughter is a goth!' and paternity test types of shows and other craziness.

Haha... they still show Sallys show over here! It looks so dated now and her glasses are so huge!

I remember Sally Jesse. There was some big scandal thet essentially ended the show . I think it a guest that later murdered another guest after being embarrassed on the show. Sally and the network were sued.

Oh and one other thing that is so cute, in one of your photos you've got almost a center-parted 'Bertinelli' hairstyle. I loved that haircut, all my older sisters had it at one point or another. Every girl in America had it, the 'Bertinelli' was an easier version of the 'Farrah'. There used to be a hilarious website dedicated to feathered center-parted hair! Looks great on you..!
