Some more from backstage Day On The Green 1976:

Sanne2, you're like my personal, pictorial encyclopedia!

You amaze me girl! I do have fun with this thread.

As for dnightshade -- a wedding photo? One can only be jealous of such a great friendship, which Mick and John seem to have. I wonder if they keep in touch...call...text each other...etc. etc.

Any variation of these?

I think they all look pretty good. Christine looks very happy, rested and content with life. Mick, however, looks like he just got done working a shift at TGIFriday's. John doesn't change expression. Same with Stevie. Lindsey? Why the knee boots? And why does he look like he's past due for his scheduled medication?

The whole idea of adding instruments to the second photo, just doesn't work for me.

That was a weird Rolling Stone photo shoot. The whole thing with the sword fight and shooting an arrow, apple on the head . . . What was the photographer's problem? What was he going for? You can create a frolicsome air for the band without getting demented about it.

These are great shots! Thank you. Do you have any outtake shots from any videos?

I can't find that Lindsey/Christine pic right now, maybe somebody else has it?

Btw, the Mick & John wedding photo was from the same photographer, Mark Seliger.

Now, I understand. Thank you Catdancer and Sanne2 for posting the other photos.

I love how people jump in to educate me.

()

I am still pretty new around here. I didn't know the ones with the apple and fencing existed. And, unless I joined the Ledge, I didn't know the DANCE TOUR existed, even though I had bought the video on vhs and the CD.

So....speaking of...

...the Mick & John wedding photo was from the same photographer, Mark Seliger.

Do you have any more photos from Mark Seliger? or variation of the Wedding Photo?

There was one variation of that pic where they are posing with 2 little bridesmaids, it was published in Rolling Stone in 1992, but I can't find that photo anywhere! I think it was posted here a while ago but I guess I didn't save it.

Yep, that's the one!
I wonder what those girls were thinking of that silly big man in a wedding dress?

Thank you Throughthefog and Sanne2.

There are so many photos that appear just through chain-of-thought.

I see the same photos over and over in magazines that to see other variations is fun.

I wonder who the little bridesmaids were, if any sort of relative.

There is a photo of the whole band. Christine and Stevie are seated in wicker chairs with large rounded backs. I can't find the photo right now, but have seen it in b/w & color. Does anyone know the photo I am describing?
