Thats not too exciting to hear about the set list....it doesn't make me look forward to the show at DTE with what I spent for tickets either. Makes me sad too. I just don't understand WHY she can't play more songs from her own catalog. She has tons no excuses really...just sad. No new merchandise....thats sad too. I guess I won't have to really buy anything than. Not very creative on her part. Stevie could do so much but......I'm disappointed .......the setlist needs to change thats for sure........

As for this summer's tour outlook. NO NEW MERCH, NO NEW ANYTHING! Had she changed up the set list a little I might consider going to both Borgata shows, but I would say if you saw the show once or more last summer and you are tight on the cash to spend on tickets (as I am!) then you really arent missing anything (except the experience is always priceless).
Don't forget about that live video coming out, too. If you guys are cash-strapped for concertgoing, you'll have the video to tide you over until another Nicks tour & maybe a different batch of songs.

That's fine. I mean, whatever. I guess even the shorter ones are much bigger and platform-y than what people would normally expect in a boot. I've seen photos of what people swear are regulation-Stevie platforms from recent years' performances, and I still say nay. They're definately different. It doesn' t matter. I'm not feeling any excitement over any of her shows and I'm not rushing out to buy tickets for those 13 songs that I've heard in so many other shows. Someone will post clips of this tour on Youtube, and I might catch her there. And it's not just the boots.

Punky attitude? Well, this is what she feels is worthy to deliver to her fans. I see no reason to get excited anymore. I haven't see her on stage since 2004, one night of the SYW tour. Everyone posts the set lists here, I look at them, and go "meh."

I'd rather remember her the way I want to remember her. More power to anyone who is seeing her for the first time and is enjoying it.

I know you hate the Klonopin era Stevie, but at least then we had songs in the set like...Rooms on Fire, Alice, No Spoken Word, Whole Lotta Trouble, Two Kinds of Love, Blue Denim, Maybe Love, and Talk to me.

This set list is just awful.

Yes, I wear my dislike of Klonopin-era Stevie on my sleave, I'm afraid. But, I think 'Blue Denim' and MLWCYM don't count as Klonopin-era. I think that particularly scary rehab experience was past her by the time the SA tour was rolling through the US (in buses).

The OSOTM shows did break in some new material, you're right. 'Alice' and 'Juliet' which might be nice to hear again with less tinkly arrangements.

was there any merch?
I was looking foward to buying something at Mohegan tomorow, but if there isn't anything at all I wont even bring money...

and if there is, how much are t-shirts?
That's probably what I would get, and you know I wouldnt even spend the money, but it is my first Stevie show and all

on a side note, I really wish she would have changed a song or two. AKA R&R and probably Crash [I was gonna say Dreams, but I dont want death threats. lol] Seriously, why not TTM or even BD or MLWCYM!!??
The latter is one of my fave SN solo songs, and its like....ugh enough with the ledzep cover!

But as long as her performance is good, what can we really complain about?
some albums have poor song choice, but you dont see us complaining.

The top ones might be the real thing. Of course, the ones at the bottom are complete imposters. Still, even the top ones seem off by maybe a half inch or so. Was the heel always that thick? Check out the cover of Bella Donna. The heel looks more slender. And higher. But, maybe Mardios Vartanian is no longer with us. Or, maybe the ones that propel Stevie to the highest altitudes are simply unwearable at her age.

I'll be seeing her tomorrow night and I have to admit that I'm kind of bummed that she is doing almost the EXACT same show as last year. However, last years tour was one the best performances I've seen of her and this will be my ninth tour I've gone to, so it can't be all that bad.
I would be willing to bet that there will be new tour stuff when the tour really kicks off in June. These first shows are kind of one off out there kind of things, I will be pissed however if she does change things up for the major leg of the tour!!!!

I am way more pumped for the upcomming soundstage release then her current tour, which is pretty much the DVD minus 3 or 4 songs. Maybe once that's released she'll freaking stop playing the same show.

The level at which she is performing these same songs is really better then ever, which makes it almost worse she isn't using her renewed energy and vocal power to sing some different songs. And it really PISSES me off that when she does do something really different it's a danm Dave Mathews cover. Your fans dont want ****ing dave mathews covers, we want Nightbird. The whole he didn't show up for your soundstage thing and you already learned the song story is getting old. Get over the fact he didn't show up and learn one of your own songs. Really if the setlist had looked like this:

Stand Back
Enchanted
If Anyone Falls
Nightbird
Sorcerer
Rhiannon
Dreams
Gold Dust Woman
Landslide
In the Still of the Night
Edge of Seventeen
Rock 'n Roll (encore)
Beauty and the Beast

I would've been completely satisfied. One new song replacing dumb Dave Mathews cover. Both are about 5 minutes, both are about the same speed, one difference, Nightbird is one of the greatest songs ever, which coincidently was written by the artist that all these weird fan people are paying to see, imagine that.

I was at the Reading show and her energy level and vocals were extraordinary. However, when she introduced Crash she said something to the effect of when she was preparing to do Soundstage she wanted to do something new (and I'm thinking "so you chose Crash?") She also said her people told her she should'nt do it (again I'm thinking "you should have listened to them").
