I guess my point is that once someone says they are offended, that ought to be it. Would it kill anyone to drop it and leave it alone. I mean the parties involved have had their say/fun. What makes me scratch my head is that Fleetwood Mac fans, and maybe even more so, Stevie Nicks fans are an extremely diverse group of people, whom I'm sure have experienced their share of ridicule, judgment, maybe even worse. I don't keep track of peoples sexual preferences, religion, or race around here, but I'm pretty sure some of the people taking part in making fun of Vivfox are bi, gay, or lesbians, and have been open about it. I guess it boils down to the fact that at the core we are all still human, but I would think that if you were ever in a situation where you felt like people thought less of you for whatever reason, you wouldn't try so hard to make someone else feel badly just because you get a laugh out of it.

And those people have often been addressed. Anyway, this is about making fun of vivfox the poster, not the actress. If you didn't make fun of him/her then what do you care what people say about others who did?

Everyone takes all this sh*t so personally. Just use the golden rule. If a bunch of people were teasing you then you wouldn't be happy about it. Can you step outside yourself for a moment to see that? It just isn't cool. And addressing the fact that you shouldn't do it isn't a personal attack on you, it's a statement of what is acceptable behavior and what isn't.
