It appears that when it comes to Stevie you guys are all deadly serious and I apologize for upsetting the balance. Sheesh.

I guess it's just kind of cheating if you do it early. If you can fool people on April Fools day, you have skills, because people are expecting it. If you do it before or after naturally people won't be expecting it. Comparing it to a Christmas party not held on Christmas is weak. It's like saying fireworks can only be shot off on the fourth of July. A better example would be if Trick or Treaters showed up at your door on October 30th instead of the 31st, then egged your house because you didn't have the candy yet. You went Trick or Treating on the 30th, so don't get upset we didn't give you candy.

I see your point, but as I said, I didn't post it to The Ledge, nor did I post it to Seven Wonders. It was written and intended for those on Enchanted. It never crossed my mind that it would get picked up by some other board. But it got picked up and went like a house on fire. The people on Enchanted got the joke and laughed it off as they always have. The people on The Ledge and Seven Wonders (more so here) seemed to take great offense to it. I could see if I posted a fake obituary or something, but I didn't, it was simply a fans wish (as all of my April Fools posts have been).
I guess I'm just amazed that post seems to have really angered people, I just don't get that at all.

I was really mad at first, but now I realize it was a great joke because most of us fully believed it!

I think people were so upset because we all are just waiting for an article/press release like this, and then when one is "published" with all of our hopes and dreams, we don't want to believe that it isn't real. I think if Stevie would divulge her plans for new music instead of keeping us waiting for 7 years, more people would have laughed at the joke.

You didn't upset me at all. I didn't even read it until you posted this thread. I just found it amusing you even started this thread and that an april fools joke was posted early.

Oh get real. Do you know how the fan community works? Surely things have ended up on Enchanted that were posted here first or on 7 wonders.

Like I said before... it didn't upset me or anger me. It had been rumbled anyway by the time I read it. The fact you started this thread gave me more reason to

I realize it was an early April Fool's joke about halfway through reading the post and was I ever relieved it was ..Adam Levine producing a Nicks album is a nausea inducing thought.
