Ah well at least you are getting the proper treatment now. Hope your happy with the custom neck.
I also have the thin custom neck on my vintage 1980 Gold top that rick has done for me. He said the thin neck originally was designed for the japanese and most of them went out to japan. The US market tended to stick with the thicker les Paul size neck. However a small few of the thin necks did remain in the US. Rick said he will have a few pictures for me in the next month so i will post them here when i get them. Peestie this could be the very guitar for you man, how far can you stretch that student loan. ?????
