I've tried all the suggestions listed here, and nothing I do will make this creature twirl any way other than counter clockwise. I am hereby giving up staring at this stupid thing and you all have my deepest apologies for introducing you to this craziness!

This is rigged. Last night when I watched it, she was going clock wise and now its the opposite!

Ugh! Such a mindfork!

At first I saw her spinning counterclockwise, but eventually I was able to make her pivot between clockwise and counterclockwise instantaneously. For me it was a matter of concentrating on the leg that juts out. I can mentally "trap" that leg so that it is always pointed away from me. Okay... I know that doesn't make sense... but try it and you'll see what I mean.

This is truly neat stuff!

^^ the only way i can purposely get her to go the other way is if i concentrate on something else. while I was reading your text, she keeps switching back and forth. but if I stop reading and just look at her, she goes on about her business and goes around clockwise. then after a few moments she'll switch back to counter.

Okay I tried the "reading" thing and finally got her to go counter clockwise--kind of freaky!! I'm beginning to think it is rigged too though!! LOL!!

Trick is to see it spinning both clockwise and counter-clockwise at the same time. Yeah, good luck with THAT one!


Someone posted this awhile back on That Board Which Must Not Be Named. Apparently if you see it spinning one direction, it means you're "right brained," and - well you can do the math on the rest. Sorry, I forget which direction is which.

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.
