^^^ that line and "love is....knowing you won't let go" are my two favorite parts of that song.

and i think in the beginning parts of the sectioned you mentioned, she's mostly trying to understand with the "yes I am" and "yes I do" but with the "i know" it just doesn't seem as effective or believable as the other lines. It's like she's trying to convince herself (and him) that she is happy and understands why he's leaving but in reality, she's just hurting. for example, when he says "you know that i loved you then" all she can say is "ooh well" like...."well, yeah, but that doesn't mean **** now, does it?"

imo anyway.
