the 40th show on the Tusk Tour
February 14, 1980
Sendai, Japan
Venue: Sports Center
I have a cassette from this show and this is my review: Lindsey sings part of Never Going Back Again acapella. He and Stevie are very much into the song Angel. Lindsey sings I'm So Afraid slightly different than his usual way.
Does anyone have this version of Angel. It's one of my Mac favs and I love the way they do it live. I would love to hear it from this show.

Om my God, a thousand, million thank you's to you for inquiring abot this song from this show. I was sitting here reading what you wrote and it dawned on me that I don't have FM live in Sendai, Japan! I go back and read my thread and sure enough there it was in black and white, my review for a show on 2-14-80. So I went to my Tusk Tour cassettes and started investigating. At some point around 12 years ago I mis-wrote the date on the cassette as 2-14 when it should have been 2-4.
Now I don't know if you'll follow me here but not only had I written 2-14-80 but I also wrote Tokyo right next to the date. The actual tape is 2-4-80 Tokyo part two and I had it listed as 2-14-80 Tokyo.
Next, when I was posting for Sendai, Japan in my head I remembered I had a cassette with the date of Valentines day on it and therefore I made my mistake in posting I had a review for a show in Sendai, Japan when I don't!
I have since re-entered my old threads and fixed them.

The Review Belongs here
the 34th show on the Tusk Tour
February 4,1980
Tokyo, Japan
Venue: Budokan
2nd night of 3 shows in Tokyo

I have this show on cassette and this is my review: The Chain is shorter than usual. Dreams is wonderful. Rhiannon is pretty good and the ending vocals in Sara are very good. Lindsey sings part of Never Going Back Again acapella. He and Stevie are very much into the song Angel. Lindsey sings I'm So Afraid slightly different than his usual way.

Wow, I'm glad I could be of some help to you. Heh heh. Don't suppose anyone has a good recording of Angel and Sara from this show.

I'm also obsessed with Sara from the Tusk tour. Even if I don't download entire shows I'll always grab the Sara. I love how Stevie often did different ad libs at the end. That song always makes me cry and in each version there's usually something that gets me. I was saddened when she did it solo on the Beladonna tour because she seemed to leave the ad libbing out. Plus, I was thrilled when someone posted a partial recording of her doing it recently and she added the "wind became crazy" part back in after all these years. I wish there was a really clear recording of that. The band does such an amazing job of the music in it too.

At this point Fleetwood Mac leave Sydney and travel around Australia for two weeks before they complete their other three Sydney shows.
