Default Beginner's Mix

Long story short, my friend loves American Idol and was lamenting the other day how she wished she had the real version of "Go Your Own Way". I offer to get her a copy, which ultimately becomes offering to make her a mix of Fleetwood Mac. She doesn't really know much of the band, just casually knows some of the hits still on the radio, but is excited about an introduction to the band.

I know burning CDs is out of style, but you don't want to overwhelm a newbie with enthusiasm, nor scare them away with nine versions of "Rhiannon", so a limited selection is best even if it's links to downloads.

So, the 20 songs you'd give a newbie. Anything's game, especially live and solo stuff. Go.

These are great! I never got the memo of burning cd's being out of style. I still try to make the ladies swoon with my mac mixes. Eh, mixed results! Heres my latest concoction, nothing live, only after they have a basic level appreciation do you throw in live stuff:

1. Landslide
2. Rhiannon
3. Never Going Back Again
4. Dreams
5. The Chain
6. You Make Loving Fun
7. That's Enough For Me
8. I Know I'm Not Wrong
9. Sara (Live from "Live" CD Set)
10. Sisters Of The Moon (Live from The Mirage Tour at the LA Forum)
11. Cant Go Back
12. Gypsy
13. Hold Me
14. Eyes Of The World
15. Goodbye Angel
16. Big Love
17. Seven Wonders
18. Paper Doll
19. Red Rover
20. Say Goodbye

I don't know, I think it pretty well represents the real musical expressions of the band at the separate given albums. Anyway, I gave this one out and it ended pretty well for me!

I do leave this album up for debate. Lord knows I gave you all some serious reasons for it!

I like the Mirage DVD nod, I think that's what I would go with too.
