I actually watched them from beginning to end which is rare for me. The best moment for me was the winners for Best Original Song. I don't know their names but what a great moment for them to win on such a low budget ($100,000) film. They probably never expected any award let alone an Oscar and their gratitude and pure joy in winning made my evening. Kudos to the Oscar folks for allowing the girl to come back and give her speech after they cut the mic on her before she had a chance for her thanks. I don't think I had ever heard applause for that category the way the audience applauded their win last night. It was a great moment for them.
