Will Ferrell is known to be a total d*ck to fans, especially if they ask for autographs. I think for a Hollywood celebrity, when so much is riding on fans acceptance, that's a huge no-no.

Total bull. He was in Ireland recently and so many people I know have told me that not only did they meet him but he was happy to chat, sign autographs, have photos taken and even have a drink with them. He wasn't even over promoting a film, he was on holiday with his family.

Okay, now I know you're not being serious. No person in their right mind likes Dodgeball more than Anchorman. Otherwise, I'm afraid we can never be friends. ![]() ![]() |

This was the original story which made me even say that about Will Ferrell. Of course, i can't know if it's true or not. Just repeating what i heard, or in this case, read. I would have thought maybe ABC is a credible news org, but I don't know much about anything, as you agree. Will's probably a wonderful individual, and the story is a pack of lies. who knows. Who. Knows.

No, Shar, I was being really serious there. I don't like Ferrell. Am I spelling his name correctly? I won't even Google him.

But David, I was planning on having a big Anchorman party and now you can't come
You'll be down the road at the inferior Dodgeball party I guess, but let me tell you it will never ever be as good! Just so you know what you're missing, that's all. Oh and I haven't seen On Approval. Would I like it even if I like Anchorman more than Dodgeball? Last edited by trackaghost; 02-19-2008 at 07:28 PM.. |

David wrote: "Ferrell is a creep"--
re: when Stevie was on 'Rosie' and gave a very good performance and interview, and i totally agree with David! Rosie appeared to have invested a lot of thought and positive energy into interviewing Stevie, and was very pleased to have had Stevie as a guest. When Ferrell came on after Stevie's segments, Rosie was still exhilerated by how well Stevie's segments went, and tried to get Ferrell to comment, and as David pointed out, Ferrell was a creep, and it was on more than one level- first, he would not extend any professional courtesy to Stevie, acting superior and smug (he just looked bemused and said 'crazy' in a most condescending way when Rosie prompted him to comment favorably about Stevie's performance on the show)- and he also was a creep to act sour to Rosie, who clearly felt she and her show had something to be pleased about by Stevie's apperance on it, and he just totally acted like a dick. Scant minutes earlier, Stevie had just been on the same stage, in the same chair he was now sitting in, and he couldn't find even one good word to say, which 'professional courtesy' would dictate he indeed find, even if it were insincere. A 'professional'-- even if he intensely disliked the other performer, would not clearly indicate his indifference, out of respect to the host (Rosie) and a performer (Stevie) who far outweighed his status in the entertainment industry- it was just really, really bad form. Now, he's making fun of her songwriting and former drug problem, while classlessly digging up the cocaine 'rumour' that Stevie has said she finds hurtful and offensive. Saying he's a cad and a misogynist seems accurate to me, but in plainer terms, the guy just sucks. |
