When I See You Again. Saddest SN song?

And for me as well, it's Lindsey's part at the end that really gets me!!

It's the lyric change from "When I see you" to "If I see you" that's so tragic. I wonder whose idea that was, Stevie's or Lindsey's?

I think this alternate mix is better than the album version, though; the way the voices blend at the end and kind of answer each other just fits the whole thing better and brings out that sadness, in my opinion.

Would it be at all possible to get a repost of this version? I don't think I've ever heard it with both of them on the end....thanks in advance!

about the song...absolutely love it! I never understood all the negativity...I think the 'ravaged' vocal on it suits the song perfectly...I do think it's one of Stevie's saddest songs (along with, of course, Storms...) But THE saddest song has to be Planets Of The Universe, or as it was originally known, NO LIGHT... which basically says it all for me...There is no hope...of course, when it finally did see the light of day on TISL, it was given a modicum of hope...but that one still gets my vote...

I always think of The Second Time as a sort of a sequel to WISYA...I love them both ...
