Default So how long wiill a Mac tour next year be?

I've already got a small war chest built up for the tour already. Like $400. I certainly wont be going to as many as I did on SYW, but then those were the crazy old days! I'm thinking like 10-15 this time. SO anyhoo, I wanted to get peoples opinion as to what type of tour this might be? will it be like the Dance? I.E U.S only/40-50 dates. Or will it be a blowout like SYW was, World tour/135 shows. I'm thinking somewhere in between. I'd guess like maybe 60 shows, and I'd probably lean to mostly U.S, with some foreign dates sprinkled in.

Hmm...I'd like a bit of a bigger tour myself. The more dates the better, as there would be a greater chance for more shows around here.

Id say mostly US dates, with some aussie, uk, and maybe france dates thrown in, i would def. say mostly us dates, so probably as you said David, around 60-70 dates.

I highly doubt a world tour with over 130 shows will happen though.

50 at the most. I don't want Stevie's vocal chords being torn up. I just can't go for that, no can do.

I think she tires herself more solo than with Fleetwood Mac. At least when shes with FM she gets a break almost every other song. Plus she does the same songs solo as FM so shes used to them anyway.

I completely agree with you. SYW wasn't really a world-tour: A handful of dates in Ireland, UK, Germany and Down Under doesn't make it a world tour.

Last time we saw Stevie solo in Europe was 1989 ! Mac with Stevie were in Holland for the last time in 1990 (not counting that horrible Time-line up in 1994).

So it's about time and they'd better not forgot the fans and record-buyers in these and other parts of the world. I'm aware of the fact that it might be expensive, but they'll fill the arena's and stadiumns overhere easily. Yesterday 2 shows of the Eagles sold uit in 10 minutes (that are almost 20.000 tickets) in Holland. I doubt it, it will be different in other countries in Europe.

They'd better do so, otherwise...

If the Euro and the Pound continue to, er, pound the U.S. dollar's a$$ on the currency market next year, I suspect there will be many more European dates than last time around.

It´s horrible that the possibillity if FM or Stevie will tour through Europe, is depended on some exchanges... :-(((

But it´s true that our czech koruna (our currency) is nursing to Euro and Dollar too a long time.

But that doesn´t change that I have no money to go to USA .

I have looked at past tours in Europe. Stevie was here with FM in 78, in 80, in 88, in 90 and in 03. And solo only on OSOSM Tour like SorcererJP said.

And that´s next reason why I´m so big fan of late ´80s times, Stevie was here every year. But I should have been born about twenty years earlier, not in 89

Um, I was born twenty years earlier than you... Trust me, I would much rather be a youngster like you!

I'd love a Europe tour, obviously, but I can't see it happening .... None of them seem that interested.
